Simon
You will need a free digital in put to wire to. (note the LEM only has one digital input) You will need to set the DI to speed and then calibrate so speed reads correctly. Â
Harry Clark
So it does need the earth and 5v in? Â Take as sensor ground and +5v from ecu? Â DI was not used so will be fine. Â Also I am going to get the firmware updated to G4 is there a tune that is setup for G3 to start from seing there are different inputs and outputs compared to any of the g4 stuff? Scott
Hi Harry, Yes, the sensor will require the +5V and sensor ground from the ECU. For a G3 being upgraded to a G4 there is no starting base-map. As part of the process you do a 'Restore to factory Settings', which effectively sets the ECU to a blank base-map. You can find a document detailing the process here: http://www.linkecu.com/support/documentation/g4-engine-management-documentation/g3-to-g4-upgrade  Scott
