Ignition degree at cranking time on Fury 4

Hi every body

I try to looking and setting the ignition degree when the engine is cranking.
I try to read from software help and manual but no information for this setting.

 

Please explain the ignition degree when cranking behavior.

Hi, are you talking about setting the trigger offset using a timing light and the 'Base Timing' setting under ECU Settings > Triggers > Calibrate? Or have you done this already?

I calibrated trigger already.

But i want to setting ignition when engine cranking (RPM<400).

Just try something from say -5 - 10 degrees. Its just to get it going.

Hi Powerboy,

There is no separate "cranking ignition" table in the G4+, your timing during cranking will just come from the main ignition table. 

On a engine that uses MAP based load then the 6 cells I have highlighted below would probably be where you want to look

I ask about this because other standalone ecu brands has a separated Ignition timing when car cranking.

In my idea, another option that must be improve is cranking RPM length parameter fixed 400 RPM.
So for some engine like Motobike, the cranking RPM is close to 400 RPM, and it need more 100-300 RPM above in cranking processes.

Hi powerboy,

The axis on the ignition table are able to have custom column and row values entered, this will allow you to enter different ignition timing for cranking/engine startup.
