Toliski Posted November 8, 2017 Report Share Posted November 8, 2017 Hello guys, I want to make my Ecu's boost control to work so i can sell my external BC to get tidy my cocpit!!! Well i have a mac type valve and i want a switch to control the duty. I want to go with close loop like my BC. I want about 3-4 position i should go for rotary switch? 12v? 0-5V? What i should buy? Adamw Posted November 9, 2017 Report Share Posted November 9, 2017 If you want more than 2 positions then most likely a multi-position rotary switch is the best option. It will be connected to 5V to give a 0-5V input. There are various manufacturers offering these. There is a thread here with an example setup: another question to produce 0-5v i must give to switch 12v and it made it -5v? or must give the switch 5v and made it 0-5v? for second option from where i take 5v signal? Simon Posted November 9, 2017 Report Share Posted November 9, 2017 Any pin that is assigned as 5V will be a 5V supply so either could be used on the plugin either the 5V on the expansion or the 5V at the main header.
