integrale8v
Hi. I am trying to start a LS2 engine with 24x trigger using the LS1 5-10 trigger setup. RPM is steady/stable at 130rpm, this sounds correct. But no spark when choosing Direct spark, in wasted spark the coils fire as they should. What could casue this? When disconnecting the cam sensor there is no spark in wasted mode either. Tried the other LS option but none of them give RPM reading. Here is the map and trigger log. Adamw
Hi Eivind, I dont see anything wrong in your settings and I also loaded your map into an ecu here and it run direct spark no worries. I have only a couple of suggestions; Upgrade firmware to latest - the 5.6.5.3303 version that you are using had multiple problems and was pulled quickly after it was released, so its not a version I have great confidence in. Also maybe try just a flat 4.0ms in your dwell table. Some LS coils do weird stuff with more than 4.5ms which might be happening with your current dwell table. integrale8v
A quick follow up here. This was just a stupid mistake by me, I just used the timing gun on spark wire when testing for spark. And when in direct spark the lamp would not flash. Maybe because of some filtering in the lamp on the low rpm.
