Hello SImon, Did I miss something??? :shock: AFAIK the plugins using V88 top board are on evo 4-8 and some subarus. I have new project with 94 R32 GTR VSPEC II, could you email the pin outs of GTS/GTR plugin with V88 top board, can't find it on VTS help Are there any upgrade other than this? Thanks

I am in the middle of tuning process of V88 on S54B32. Fuel, ignition, idle ctrl, double vanos, boost, everything is working properly except E throttle, I often get E throttle errors 73 Supply Aux 9/10 and 84 Overheat I/C . I have removed return spring on every throttle and dc motor, tried few E throttle and PID setup combinations, I can get stable throttle movement but after few minute run it get 73 and 84 errors again and again.

I had similar problem, I leaned and reduce ignition timing on idle area cells, problem solved

Simon and Dave .. thanks for the help, I put combination between cam and ground pin, crank and ground pin , tested by start the engine, due to circumstances I did not notice one of combination was right until I use osciloscope

I checked all software setting and configuration {manually set on V44 base file} , all cables especially triggers and ground wires all are good, change crank sensor from other car, disconnected all add on devices cables that were used {piggyback, boost controller, turbo timer, etc}. The car still wont run, same condition. It was running perfect when using original ecu :? This is Subaru WRX STI 1994 version 1 with 4 channels ignition, could someone shed me light ?

Hi all, I am installing V44 to Subaru 1994 version 1 and have trigger error counting up. The engine crank easily, run smooth for seconds then dies. When it ran I saw rpm was jumping around. I set trigger mode to Subaru V1-6, try to solve by alter the trigger filtering and arming values (both for trigger 1 and 2), swapped the crank and cam input cables with no luck. Anyone could help?

I have V10 engine with firing order 0,90,144,234,288,378,432,522,576,666, with latest firmware 4,9,1 does V88 can run odd fire wasted spark?

Your attached Vipec diagram is the wiring for infinite vanos application. M52 got simple on off vanos so you don't need feed back signal (Digital input) To activate vanos you need one aux output, set function to cam switched, you also need voltage divider resistor to reduce voltage from 12v to 10v

Sorry I never work with that kind of sensor, but you could try to use pin 43 brown as an input or change it with 2 pin magnetic sensor. Do you still attach DME for other purpose or just V88 ?

I want to connect original BMW M3 E46 Dash to V88 via CAN, do I need CAN Opener or just correct settings. Anybody has successfully done this?

I thought it can be done by assigning the activation control of launch control and data logging on the same DI... or... am I wrong? 8-)

Is it? AFAIK max frequencies are same for DI#1- 4 ? I use CAN to AIM dash, the problem appeared on datalog is on input signal reading not output

Hi all, I have problem on CBR600RR, the speed reading always back to zero every time reach 150km/h. The parameter setting is pullup resistor on active edge falling calibration DI#3 3370 Anyone can help?

I successfully upgraded V88 firmware to 4.8 very quick, when I did on subaru plug in ecu version 4.4.3 to 4.8, the program stopped at "searching ECU..." The com port of Vipec program in my laptop is com 3. Tried many times, changed usb port always comes up with same result. I upgraded V88 off the car connected just to battery poles, while Subaru ecu I did on the car. Anyone can help? Thanks Hening

Ray, What is the difference between S54 ver 1,2 and 3, is that depend on what year make ? I plan to install S54B32 Europe engine to E36, it has E-throttle also. Hening
