Works great here 90 percent of the time, Has Homeland Security Flaw, they can control it, or Feds, or Sherrif's. Either way, no use to me if I can't run it live 100 percent, I thought about putting it in a farad cage, but I'm just not that happy that it is flawable,

It's probably because of my security clearance bullshit, that I want nothing to do with. F'EM

Either way, the clock is ticking, Me and my children are moving to NZ, and building a product US Export Restricted.

What your are talking about. The only access to the ECU is over USB cable connection. Means, unless you have connected your laptop over a cable to your ECU, there is no way anyone could access your ECU.

If you have spyware on your PC and someone is controlling your machine, thats really not the fault of Link! I

Just refund this piece of crap

  4. I know your compiler for your G4+ is written in a different language, I don't see your G4x Code and Compiler to be secure, I have watch someone remotely control my ECU. I don't appreciate the harassment and want to trade or get my money back. Very Unsecure, Almost Killed Me. I also know it was a government device. Refund Please.

  5. Hi, wonderful team of knowledge.

I got my COP valve cover installed finally, minus powder coating. I noticed in my log, that as acceleration forces reverse, I'm getting a dwell dropping from about 4 to 3.5-3.9, So as acceleration is maxing, the fuel is like plus 2 minus 1. RPM 4089 Example, 625cc 638cc 4v Dwell Battery V 14.2 Actual PW 5.967 DT .761 , Acceleration Decreasing Changing My Bat V becomes 13.6 dwell 3.9 is 610cc, RPM 3969, Actual PW 6.249 DT .980, And Then Acceleration Choking a bit, until dwell hits 3.8, then acceleration starts again, 626cc DT .986 Actual PW 6.262 RPM 4087, All this occurs until battery voltage back 14.25, (the cycle for this behavior is about 4-5 ms)

I'm assuming I got some belt slipping going on, but I would also like to smooth the drop out anyway if possible, I did stretch my deadline table out to Quarters to get a better grip on the injectors, which help a lot, I put my cheap 1000cc injectors back in,

    Gain: 0.12ms/MG
    Offset: 0.055ms
    Turn on time @ 14VDC: 1.14ms
    Turn off time: 0.85ms @ 300KPa
    Amperage: 1.0 Amps
    Pressure: Min 30PSIG/ Max 100PSIG

Which doesn't interpret very well for

I also saw something you talk about polarity being needed to be wired backwards for Honda COP conversions.

if you could give a brief explanation I would appreciate it, for both the Injectors and the cop conversion,

i haven't purchased the COP yet, I was looking at the D17 Plugs from accel or msd, any advice would be helpful.

Yes, each member gets a small storage allowance.  Commercial forum hosting/storage is not cheap - the cost is not only based on how much space you use, but also how many visitors you get per hour etc.

Nearly everybody has a google, apple or microsoft account nowadays and they are free if you dont so I suggest if you use one of those to share files if you have already used your allowance.

I understand that. Thanks,is it possible to erase files to maintain the simple space.

For the logs being split up, what are your activation settings for your ECU Logging?

The triggerscope was loading the layout on filename alone, have changed it to explicitly use the directory of the executable, will be in next release.

    Capture.PNG

Looking at the picture of your log those aren't real values so either the log file on the ECU is corrupt or it has had a serious issue while downloading it to the computer.

Yeah maybe, I see something else, but anyway, Vaughan, are you the programming guy and if so can be a little inquisitive, I havent dug into your stuff at all, but I like what I see. Is this straight c ?. I'm interested to know what the compiler is?

PS the original settings are as you posted, now I have them trigger to the fuel pump

The HP Tuners formula for the fuel press sensor would give the following calibration - which at least looks closer to normal, so I suggest you use this:

For Lambda target table, export/import the one out of our Nissan GTR base map, that would be more like what you need for a boosted engine.

    Thanks,

I did a check with at 300 and 450 kpa.

Mechanical Guage and Voltage all lined up, I would show you a picture, but can't upload a file.

The AFR GTR Map is updated to my image. Thanks Crash Coursing.

I really appreciate everything you and your team are doing, really keeps the depression away.

  9. Cold Start Went Well.

I did have to adjust charge table, I knew that was coming,

On a second note, I noticed that I ac clutch was turning on. Will check circuit before we get into it. But I had to disable clutch DI to stop it from running, relay keep activating, then deactivating. May a cross in the harness, personally never seen snow in September.

Then had voltage drop across the whole system. Obviously something crossed in alternator charge circuit. The harness is stock. Will put a volt meter on it to check it all out.

Maybe I should just old school and get away from electronics and I bet it works perfectly.

    Second to last

    I uploaded that short video

    2.1 or something like that.

    Third to last

    I uploaded 4.5mb of data.

  11. Yeah, I'm a script cmd script junkie, I run a shell free environment, Its rooted to c:/linkecu/pclink G4x/ . But I don't think it has ever worked. I'm assuming by that statement, you have a hard linked location, for a symbol, give me twenty mins, I'll do a fresh install. And leave default paths.

It was shell root need, it executed fine with a "root called" in either location, mine or your default, my computer is set to load your program at startup no shell. I will work the root into startup.

    Thanks for your time.

Any verdict on the original request on the log, it probably something stupid like I'm a terrorist and Homeland security it thinking my computer in my car is a suicide mission waiting to happen.

I've only had a brief look at your map, obviously the ecu log is no use.  A PC log might be a better option until we sort out your ecu logging issue..

A couple of things that leap out at me:

    1. Your fuel pressure sensor calibration looks wrong.
    2. Your lambda target for 130Kpa and above might be a bit on the lean side.
    3. IAT fuel trim should be turned off for modelled mode.
    4. You are going to need more than 240cc of injector for boost

    Fuel pressure Sensor.

    ACDelco 13500745

It is supposed to be a 100psi sensor. I got the info from a post, I should have bought a Bosch, for I have the spec book for Bosch Product line, I have a live fuel gauge on the line,

    Sensor: ACDelco #13500745, 0-100psi

    HPTuners PID Config. Volts/.0371 + (-13)

The threads in the sensor are parallel, but the correct pitch. Just run a 1/8 NPT tap in them until it bottoms out and you'll be able to thread in a pipe nipple.

    Pin 1: Vout
    Pin 2: Ground
    Pin 3: +5vdc

    lambda

Send me some knowledge, I have it set up by some guys specs,

That table for lambda target was the default for your Honda image, I pushed the numbers down some, it might have taken some heat off the sensor as well.

IAT good call. Missed that completely.

Injectors, I've got a set of 1000cc, to much, plus not enough info on them. I think I'm just gonna sux it up and buy some Bosch 440 or 750.

Really on budget build. Not such deep pockets, if you have a good choice you like, fire away.

    Thanks,

    I really appreciate your help.

It will write to a new log everytime the ecu is powered off/on.  It will also write to a new file once a certain size is exceeded.  This is to make it easier when you for instance have many hours of logs stored in there but you only want to download the last ten minutes.

Not sure what you are trying to explain here, you will have to explain it better or do a video or something.

Are you saying when you click capture  with the engine running, you get no waveform drawn?

Right, nothing but a box, I figure the app is missing a library, like vb runtime, but I don't see it. I also rolled back to win 7 from win 10. But not it. When I click on capture I get nothing, this is a G4x Honda Plugin 96-98. If that makes a difference.

Ill have to get one of the engineers to look at this, Im not sure what has caused it.  So were the other 3 logs ok?

You lambda issue most likely is the Innovate controller, I have not seen one work correctly for more than an a few hours in the years I have been dealing with them.

Yeah, the other logs are ok, but, not sure why they split into three. I also get sometimes get a residual log on my laptop, like I Logging, there should only be one log, I'll stop Logging and close it, and a short log with very few changes, but it does typically have data growing at rate of x.

The Innovative was working fine, I did read your opinion a few minutes ago on it, so noted. One other tribal thing, but I can't get my laptop to do a trigger scope, the box pops up, I get to buttons, capture, and cancel, everything else is blank.

  15. Hi Everyone, This my D16Y8 tune so far, and a log, I still have some sensors to wire in, and a oil cooler, to hot for me, this is a daily driver Civic for me currently, planning on passing it down to one of my kids. I have just started finished installing boost solenoid, and just started working on pulling in timing and trim on acceleration. My goal is about 15-16 psi, currently my BAP is 12.3 or so, but I'm really from a place at sea level. So MGP is very important in my process. Any help would be great.

  16. Hi, been working on a lambda issue, my lambda goes beserk at different times, almost like it has rf interference issue, I literally can tell you when I'm near a police unit, by it. Anyway, so I set Internal Logging to get it off the PC, just two separate radio interference points, and I got four different log files, one of them being this, Any ideas?

  17. I have a turbo d16 Honda. I was seeing if you could send me a completely tuned four cylinder turbo sample, so I can make sure I'm staying on the right path. Running great just working on Accel and boost and trim setting.

    Thanks
I have plugin for 98 Honda.
