    VVT & RPM output

    You will need to assign a Aux output to a Tacho Function and the VVT will also need an Aux out assigned.
  2. A 5 amp fuse would do the trick nicely.
  3. Looking to check the plumbing of the solenoid. and if it is being held on. With it unplugged electrically, it should only make spring pressure.
  4. Check that you are getting 12V on the digital input you have assigned as Ignition Switch.

    The 97r chip is for the V3-4 subaru and will be geared to run the matching ECU this will not work in the earlier V1-2 ecu.
  6. Are you using the PC logging or ECU logging? You will need to use PC logging and make sure you log all parameters Knock threshold should then match the figures in the table.
  7. That sounds very much like anti theft or ECU hold power is active. These functions stop the engine by locking the triggers out. By changing the trigger settings without a key cycle stops these functions working.
  8. This is what I'm thinking should work. Di 1 is your activation input from the bike. Aux output 4 is looped in to Di2. You will then use Di2 to activate the cut. With the set up as pictured the shift cut should not be able to happen with in 1 second of the last. You can reduce this time by lowering the timer 1 value in Aux 4

    Unlock ECU

    The dealer who supplied the unit will be able to do the unlock code. Most are now set up to be able to do this.

  11. You will need to have the OBD option enabled and turned on in the ECU under CAN configuration.
  12. If you haven't already I would try another crank sensor. Also make sure ECU hold power or anti theft is not active.
  13. It might not be enough to be a problem but it is untested. Gear cut is an area that will undergo a rework in the future for the i Series units.

    For the map sensor it will depend on the age of the Storm. Silver cased ones are 2.5bar and the ones that are in a blue case are 4Bar Yep 25W 4.7 ohm per injector will be spot on.

    No we don't have an adapter for the Storm for this application as we have a dedicated plugin to suit. You could look to boomslang.us as they would be able to make you a custom one.

    That one is hand control only, TO be PC tunable it would need RSROADQ or RSROADR firmware.

  20. As you need to use a Di as the input for the cut, I think the only option to allow a timer would be to use a Aux out to trigger the Di. The switch conditions for the Aux out can then be based off the Switch input and a timer condition. The issue with this is it could introduce excessive delay to the cut response.

The pc link version is also a way to ensure people are using the most current information available. As in all things you have the choice to pick another product if you don't like the way we do things. Â Â
  23. You should be able to get about a base timing of 5deg, the old G1 units you had to add the base timing to the map to give you the total timing. Make sure when you check the timing you use a short HT lead between the coil and plug, dont use the timing loop wire.

    Injector Ballast

    I would go with the 2R2 50 watt resistors. At the higher voltage this will get the injector open happy. We can sell these if you need. Give sales a email and they can sort.
