  1. I have a problem with a 3 cylinder Rotax 4-tec engine in a Skidoo snowmobile. The trigger wheel/sensor is inductive 36-2. Stock wheel and trigger When I turn over the engine without plugs installed I get a clean signal, and stable RPM. Also get stable RPM with 1 and 2 plugs installed. But with all 3 plugs installed the RPM fluctuate all over the place, the signal is also not consistent on the trigger scope. Have tried trigger filter up/down, trigger arming. But no luck.. Seems like the trigger wheel accelerate/deaccelerates and this disturbs the trigger, The engine turns over quite fast with 3 plugs installed also, maybe around 180-200rpm. Any suggestions? The map is just a base map. 2.pclr
  2. I dont know about your timing numbers but the 10 degree in the calibration menu is NOT added to timing. That is just what timing the ecu is locked at while you adjust trigger offset. Just lock your timing with the calibration menu and check your timing/offset with an ignition lamp and see if it matches. Then you have your question/doubt answered
  3. Random rpm apikes and trigger error counting. And ofcourse misfire when this happens. They were using both reluctor types triggers.
  4. The need to set trigger 2 as Hall effect to avoid trigger errors have been confirmed on 2 seperate m50 non vanons engines (both by Link dealers). Tried with all sort of settings (trigger arming/filter/trig priority etc) but no good until sett as Hall effect, But hopefully it works fine on Nettlez`s engine with reluctor (as it should be).
  5. Are you using the stock reluctor camshaft sensor? Set this to Hall effect and rising edge.. The camshaft sync is in the the missing tooth gap on these engines and the Link ECU is not happy with that. But set as Hall effect / rising edge works. (pullup off)
  6. Ring gear can not be used as sync. Best option would either to be keep the 2 teeth or install a multitooth/missing wheel. (36-1 or 60-2) on the crank. Dizzy triggers are not a good solution (only good for sync). If you want full sequential you need to have a sync trigger on either the camshaft or the dizzy.
  7. Here is the log file. Log 2016-09-10 120147 pm m50 rus.llg
  8. What does the "Limits Flags Word" mean? A customer has a problem when free reving the car, I see this count to 64 shortly after. No limits activated in the log.
  9. There is a very big step between your idle ignition table and main ignition table. If the engine switches between these it will probably start hunting (idle up/down),

  11. You can add a gauge with differential fuel pressure.
  12. you can add/subtract 360 degrees to the trigger offset
  13. Hi. Is it possible to add 100k speed to the canbus? Some clusters use this speed.
  14. Here is an example: http://dealers.linkecu.com/I3_2 Wiring diagram is probablyt inlcuded with it. (need 2 of these)
  15. The stock ecu has built in ignition modules. You must install an ignition module between the Link ecu and the coils.
  16. It is safe to try with 276 degrees also. -84 or 276 is the correct angle for both m50 and m20. With igniter I mean an ignition module between the coil and ecu. The m50 coils can NOT be wired directley to the ecu.
  17. Hi. Have you tested the injectors and coils that they work as they should with the PClink software? You have wired in ignitors for the coils? as these does not have built in igniters. Fuel pressure okay?. Had a quick look on your file and that seemed okay. I know the trigger angle 84 degrees as you have is okay for wasted spark, but Im not 100% sure if it is 84 or 276 that is correct for full sequential. Have you tried both? (s54 use 276). Eivind
  18. What kind of cam/sync trigger do you have? is this set up correctly?
  19. I see there is coming a GDI ecu, great news. :). Will there be a 6 or 8 cylinder version also in the future?
  20. Hi. Tables on the closed loop lambda: "Ftrim Limit +-" would be nice. So one can for example add/subtract different max % at different rpm/loads. And option to set different max + and -.
  21. All this works fine on my Fury ECU. (just updated with the new software/firmware). Both on/offline
  22. There is an error on the PClink page, the correct new version is all the way down on the page. Here is the link: http://www.linkecu.com/app/site/media/sitemedia.nl/id.302986/.f
  23. you must press Enter after setting new numbers.
  24. Hi. Here is a V44 map for a stock engine. m20 ok orginal 1009.pcl
