  2. its my road car  got 3 way switch with centre off  in centre off both di inputs are off, high boost table active for 1.63 bar, with switch forward di1 active for low boost of 1.15 bar, with switch back for di2 for cyclinic running at idle to cool pistons and and the possibility of anti lag fopr latter on  thats reason why high boost is centre off and can use anti lag only on high boost mode  as for closed loop settings for wastegate dc, got target boost and actual boost which works very well in controlling the boost, but no wastegate dc on higfh boost, only low boost

  4. got 2 boost maps on a g4 storm  on one of the tables(low boost) the waste gate dc is actives and working, on the other table(high boost) the wastegate dc isnt active, using DI1 for switching between boost settings  how do i get the wastegate dc active on the other boost map  its a g4 storm also using the antilag mode using DI2 for activation  serial number of g4 is 4739 running firmware of 4.10.2 and boot code firmware of 1.4

  6. i have just fired up my ej20t in my98 ver 4impreza  used the base map in the software download set up file for the g4 storm  got it running quite happily on a gt28 and 650cc injectors including wideband controller  what version is your impreza
  7. the g4 storm ecu states the 3 wire iscv must have resistance greater than 10 ohms  the subaru 3 wire iscv has resistance of 9 ohms on the coils  with this it is giving me a back feed and powering up the ecu from an aux output  can i use two relays for the ecu to switch which will in turn operate the iscv opening and closing functions as just tested my spare iscv to check on a battery which operated fine, or do i add in two 10 ohm 25 watt resistors to increase the resistance but will this make the opening /closing functions slower as only will get 6 volts across each coil and resistor  cheers neil
  8. its ok solved now, found the isue
  9. getting back feed via aux 1 and aux 2 which is isc open and close  can i fit a set of diodes to prevent the back feed of ecu
  10. put unit into car without 5a fuse on 14v line  turned on ignition and ecu powerd up and getting 10.6v back out the ecu on the 14v line in  ecu is doing everything that it is meant, put the 5a fuse back in and there is no affect on unit  is it possible it is getting a back feed from incorrect aux output configuration  its for a ver 4 impreza my98 car  aux 1 - isc close - swith to earth to operate - when not in use ouputs 12v aux 2 - isc open - switch to earth to operate- aux 3 - boost solenoid - switch to earth to operatre aux 4 - tacho output aux 5 - fuel pump relay - swich relay to earth to operate aux 6 - not used - aux 7 - check engine light aux 8 - purge solenoid  wee bit of help required

  12. got it working,  been trying to connect to ecu via the pc and have the display connectiong at same time  so basically its either pc or display cant support both at same time
  13. plugged in the can cable to the g4 storm and cable to link display which i had overhaulled at christchurch not that long ago  when i try to connect it says this ecu might not be can enabled ? please check serial number as hardware might need updated  as serial numbers under 10,000 not enabled, got serial number 4739  does the ecu need returned for a mod to run the link display or can i change settings to rx/tx instead of can h and can l
  14. got my ecu today and updated the firmware and loaded the ver 3-4 map supplied  have notived the plug is missing 5 pins  cand i get some pins on there own and are they available   ps how do i set up the antilag using a digital input 2 as not using a maf sensor
  15. where abouts are you  as got a spare link g1 with a wrx97r chip which is laptop tunable

  17. Also  i have fitted some 25 watt 4R7 resistors for the g1 ecu to run low impedance 3 ohm injectors  is the storm ecu ok to do this as well  looked on another thread here and you recommended 50 watt items

Was there any wrx97r chips that have 10 rows of tuning  as my mapper says the jumps between load cells when moving to 3 bar map sensor might make it jumpy  car spec is  jdm bottom end with sti5 heads and fully ported and polished ver 4 iscv and throttle body fitted to ver 5 inlet newage top feed fuel system parallel set up nissuan gtr works tuning fuel regulator sard low impedance 650cc twin port injectors 300 lph in tank fuel pump 3 port boost solenoid 3 bar map sensor a gt2860rs Owen development turbo in standard location triple thickness top mount intercooler and baileys dump valve
  21. right, just checking  a wrx97r chip (ver3+4) has 6 rows of tuning and a wrx99r chip (ver 5 and 6)has 10 rows of tuning  is it possible to fit the 99r chip onto the ver 3+4 ecu board and have 10 rows of tuning opposed to 6 rows or it is in the ecu board itself  if it is possible and works fine, are the chips available on their own
  22. so if i am mapped for talking 1.8 bar of boost with the boost solenoid active  i disconnect the supply to the boost solenoid and run actuator pressure around 1 bar,  will the ecu not over fuel as been mapped to 1.8 bar or does it self adjust to 1 bar of pressure
  23. going to wire this in before i get remapped in august  it wont affect the ecu any way at all ?
  24. thats done, thats how i wired it and had to modify the engine loom to do it as a common feed to each injector, now single feed to the ballast packs then indivialfeeds to each injector
  25. right thats the manifold and wiring sorted  added in 25 watt 4R7 ohm resistor into the system, the orginal injectors were 11 ohms and new injectors are 3.1 ohm with a 4R7ohm  25 watt resistor  with this set up will the injector outputs on the ecu be able to run this quite happily
