Ted reacted to Scott C in Question about the jumpers
It sounds like you're missing a jumper. You should have (1) for the three-pin and (2) for the four-pin.
You'll have to source or make a replacement before you can run the ECU.
Was this purchased second-hand/used?

Would need to check the lambda average reading, The lambda target table will also need to be set up to suit.

Yes, I believe you are correct, most tablets that have a single USB can only charge or communicate. A tablet with two usb ports would be ideal.
It will take some playing around to setup the display as you like it. Often this can be very painful to do on the tablet itself.
The tablet will want to running 'proper' windows and not a crippled mobile version of windows.

Ted reacted to Androo007 in Link G4+ Tablet view
Hi All,
I've just had the Link G4+ p&p option installed on my 1994 Mr2 (non OBD) and have searched around for ages about displaying on a tablet but not been able to find any definitive answers!
The plan would be to have a digital interface to give realtime info using the the views available. I've downloaded the latest PCLink software but a self proclaimed idiot with software I'm struggling to....
a) Make a nice view (IAT, Boost, EGT, AFR the most important)
b ) work out if it's actually possible to mount in the car instead of a double DIN for display.
I've also concluded that a tablet micro USB can only do data OR charge - is that correct?
Thanks chaps!

You can configure the look of PCLink however you like, but doing it on a tablet could be tricky. One solution would be to design your layout on a laptop/PC, save the layout file (Layout > Save Layout File As..) and then email it to the tablet and then open it in PCLink on the tablet.
When it comes to actual design of the layout, you can add new pages by clicking Layout > New Page. You can add a gauge wherever you want one by right clicking in some available space and then selecting the gauge type you want.

Setting speed is easy, enter your gear ratios in the Gear Ratio Table (Not straight from your transmission gear chart) There are decent instructions in the help.
I used a GPS to determine my cars correct speed, then adjusted the parameters till the ECU was reading my real road speed. Works great.. This also works well to show what gear you are in on your dash.
