Gregconboy158 Posted July 19, 2020 Report Share Posted July 19, 2020 Hi, does anyone know how I would go about wiring and calibrating a temp sensor like this for oil temp? I've got a honda b18 engine and was hoping to use the sensor out of a spare head ive got here which is the same sensor but I can only find stuff on 2 pin sensors. See picture attached. Adamw Posted July 19, 2020 Report Share Posted July 19, 2020 Single wire sensor is not suitable for ECU use, as sensor ground would have to be connected to the engine for it to work. Also, these are typically very low resistance, designed for 12V pull-up rather than 5V which ECU's typically use. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
