Evo 1-3 G4X PnP direct spark help.

Hey there,

I am trying wire in direct spark to an evo 1-3 G4x board. I have the expansion loom available. Going off what the manual says it hints that I will need to move pin 33 and pin 38 to the expansion loom, then wire in the new coil to pin 33 and pin 38. If I do that wont I lose ECU power?

If someone could clarify or offer any assistance that would be great.

Thanks.

One last question, what is the best/correct way to wire the wideband for this specific ecu? I have another ecu manufacturers wideband and controller which I heard is compatible with Link.

Do I use the rs*** can 1 or the odb can 2?

Thanks

Provided your WB1 has at least 2.03 firmware in it then it will communicate with the Link ECU with the same set up as the Link CAN lambda.

If yours is running older firmware then you will either need to get someone with a haltech ECU to connect it up and do a firmware update.

You can use either CAN port.
