Mgbsr20det
can anybody tell me how to configure a digital input to receive speed signal from my speedhut gps speedo. thanks
dx4picco
I don't seem to find anything about the output of that speedo. Provided is has one, connect it to a DI, set it up as any wheel speed sensor, and change the calibration pulse count for it to give a more accurate number. Pull up resistor is probably off. This is the info I received from speedhut when I messaged them last night : “Our GPS speedometer output pulse will pull to ground. If you need a 5V square wave then you will need to wire the output as shown in the attached image except you will need to provide a 5 volt signal instead of 12 volts.”
Adamw
You dont need an external pullup, the DI's have one built-in you can just switch it on in the software. Not sure why they have given you a drawing of an ecu tacho output, doesnt seem relevant to a speed input.
