Wee Chia Yung Posted August 29, 2021 Report Posted August 29, 2021 Please help me with wiring and software setup K20 stock electronic throttle got 6 wire out, I need to connect to where? I'm now using linkg4x monsoon and link e throttle module I need how to setup the software also, too confused with an volt and aux Quote
Adamw Posted August 29, 2021 Report Posted August 29, 2021 Throttle Pin 1 to Ethrottle module Grey wire. Throttle pin 2 to Ethrottle module Yellow wire. Throttle pin 3 to ECU sensor ground. Throttle pin 4 to any ECU AN Volt input Throttle pin 5 to ECU 5V. Throttle pin 6 to any ECU AN Volt input Throttle module White/Brown to ECU aux output 1 or 3. Throttle module White/Green to ECU aux output 2 or 4. Throttle module White wire to any spare ECU aux output or ignition drive. Quote
Wee Chia Yung Posted August 29, 2021 Author Report Posted August 29, 2021 Thanks Adamw, how about the link software setting, need to assign an volt to something? And aux to something confusing Sorry Adamw, the wiring diagram you provided, throttle pin 2, connect to 3 location? E throttle module yellow, ecu 5v and any ecu an volt input, correct? Quote

Set PWM output to max the aux you have wired the white/green, white/brown wires to. Set the E-throttle relay 1 to the aux you have the white wire connected to: Set TPS main source to the the AN Volt that throttle pin 6 is connected to, set TPS sub source to the AN volt that throttle pin 4 is connected to. Wee Chia Yung Posted August 30, 2021 Author Report Posted August 30, 2021 Adamw, just to confirm, pedal wiring, do I need to connect to linkg4 ecu,or just take the throttle 6 pin you mentioned b4, no need any connection from the pedal socket Quote
Adamw Posted August 30, 2021 Report Posted August 30, 2021 Of course the pedal needs to be connected to the ecu. It is similar to the throttle body, it will need ground, 5V, and two analog inputs. Quote
Wee Chia Yung Posted August 31, 2021 Author Report Posted August 31, 2021 Adamw, e throttle still not working, I've connected e throttle module green wire to aux 4, brown to aux 3,white to aux 5, correct? Wee Chia Yung Posted August 31, 2021 Author Report Posted August 31, 2021 this is the setting you provided, it's different from mine i have connected an volt 1 to stock throttle pin 6 and an volt to to pin 4, but my software can assign 1 an volt only... And then, I have connected pedal signal 1 to an volt 3 and 1 to and volt 4 is this the setting for the pedal signal? Quote
Wee Chia Yung Posted August 31, 2021 Author Report Posted August 31, 2021 And then, I have connected pedal signal 1 to an volt 3 and 1 to and volt 4 is this the setting for the pedal signal? ive found main and sub already but still not working, which part I did wrong Quote
Adamw Posted August 31, 2021 Report Posted August 31, 2021 Have you done TPS and APS calibration? what errors do they give? It really sounds like you need to get a dealer or tuner involved for help. Quote
Wee Chia Yung Posted September 8, 2021 Author Report Posted September 8, 2021 Dear Adamw, is my wiring and setting correct? I've done aps calibration, tps calibration got problem. Quote
Vaughan Posted September 8, 2021 Report Posted September 8, 2021 Aux 5 active state should be Low Quote
Wee Chia Yung Posted September 12, 2021 Author Report Posted September 12, 2021 Aux 5 active state set to low already, tps calibration done, but pedal still not working, please help After aux 5 active state set to low and tps calibration I can see the throttle automatically open then close. After tps calibration done, I press the pedal nothing happened to the throttle This map is working when I press the pedal, but throttle not moving OK I think I found it to work, set when stalled to run throttle and e throttle 1 target map, correct? But I notice when I put the key to on position, the throttle making sound, is that normal? Quote

If you set it to quiet mode it will only operate when the engine is running. Quote
Wee Chia Yung Posted September 12, 2021 Author Report Posted September 12, 2021 Set to quiet mode, working fine without noise, thank you Quote
Boxcar Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 Since the monsoon has 4 “AN VOLT” inputs, what did you do for your engine oil temp/pressure? Quote

I thought a CAN switch board was to turn components off/on like engine fans. Temp/Press. Gauges wouldn’t fall under that correct? Quote

ECUMaster CAN Switch Board V3 has: 8 AN Volt Inputs 8 Digital Inputs 4 Aux Outputs ...so yes, you can connect temperature sensor (with external pullup resistor), and pressure sensor to AN volt input Boxcar 1 Quote

I’d need a pdm to use a can board right? Quote
