keizsr
Hello. I'm using g4xstorm and I'm having trouble with the preclank prime display. It is displayed on the digital meter. When the switch is turned on, it displays 0. When cranking, it displays a set number, for example 15. However, when cranking is finished and the engine is running, the display still shows "15". The time plot also remains at 15. Does this display not return to 0 even if I stop the cell motor? Or is it still correcting at 15? Other starting corrections return to 0 when finished, is this different?
Adamw
Yes it looks like this always shows the value that is being pulled from the pre-crank prime table. Im not sure if that is intended to work that way or an oversight, but the actual pulse does only occur when the prime conditions are met (ign switch or start pos). keizsr
I see. Actually, I'm having a hard time cold-starting the engine at around 10 degrees Celsius. I noticed this when I was reviewing the logs. Thank you for all your help.
Vaughan
Pre Crank Prime is applied for a fraction of a second and so any runtime that showed only when it was active would be effectively pointless, instead it shows the value it did apply.
