TurboS52
I recently switched to a fore fuel pump controller and it needs a voltage input greater than 6.5v to activate. I was using ign 8 output as a ground signal to control a relay for the fuel pump but now I need a 12v signal instead. I switched the ign 8 to active state high but it does not output 12v. I am guessing this output cannot send 12v. The only other Aux output I have is Aux 2 which I am wondering if that could be used for a 12v output. Thanks -Mike
Confused
Nope, won't output a 12v signal from an Aux output for this purpose. You'll need to keep the ground-switched output, and use this to feed a relay which will then switch your 12v signal into your new pump controller. Adamw
Depending how much current the module requires the aux 2 may work, they have a 1.5K pull-up to 12V so it will be enough to drive most solid state type controllers.
