Hello guys! Need some help on cold start and idle
 Last few months Im keep trying to figure out smooth idle and correct idle. Since i have like no pro tuner in my country. Car drives okey in cruise and couple of WOT.

The problems are:

1. On cold start  car doesnt hold its rpm and shuts down

2. Cranking time is longer (about 3 secs or more)

3 Idle is unstable rpm rises and falls almost constantly.


Mods are:

-IAG900 longblock

-Kelford 282 cams with 1mm oversized valve (with all supporting mods and ported)

-Precision gen 2 6266 v band 0.82 hotside turbo

- 38mm tial WG

- 45mm TIAL BOV

- ID1050x top feed injectors (have id1700x since im not sure fuel pump could hangle it)

- Aeromotive A1000 FPR

- 340lph fuel pump

- 10 bar fuel pressure gauge (Calibrated)

- 5.2 bar map sensor (Calibrated)

- GM IAT sensor

- MAC 3 port boost solenoid

- AEM water/meth injection

I have 272 GSC cams and I idle at 1100.. so bump your idle speed.

I'd copy the E-throttle PID settings from the base map. 

Copy your Idle ignition control PID settings from the base map as well. 

See where that gets you...

If that doesnt work switch to Open loop idle control and go from there.

You hitting an ignition cut mid of your pull... 

You are close to MAP limit but it doesnt show it triggered.. 

2nd thing.. your knock.. 

3rd.. you have warm up enrichment on while at normal operating temps.. add that to fuel and zero out your operating range.

Unless there is another reason to have it on...

and i still have a problem.

1. Cold start its still little bit of slow start.

2. when i let off the throttle car shuts down in a cruise range and after WOT

3. when i tried to park (turning steering wheel) car shuts down either. 
what should i do? I zeroed warmup enrichment 80-110ECT to all "0"

hello again. solved car idle control and car shuts down in traffic issue. 

today i made 3th and 4th gear pull using 95 octane fuel +50/50 water methanol injection. 
While run there is huge knock accurs on cylender 2. is there anyway to solve this issue?/there is something with heads slapping that area since after i got my iag900 blongblock heard with headseat im sure it was not piston slap/ please see attached file and log.

Hi.

Your knock needs to be tuned first.. to see if this was real knock. 

I wouldnt be going around and doing pulls on untuned knock/ignition. This is a recipe for a new iag900 block.

Either take it to a tuner or take some courses.

 

Also if you fixed your idle.. post what fixed it.. it might help another guy..

 

to reduce knock you'd usually remove timing or add fuel or both.. or look at you AVCS.

Also.. you went from 6500 to 7700 so either you have trigger issues or your clutch slipped.
