muzzytt
We have a v88 running a 2jzgte vvti with a continental/gm eflex sensor 13577379 For some reason the vipec is not recognising the sensor. We have tried another sensor same. Checked all wiring all hooked up as per wiring diagram. Is there a software issue or setting we are missing here? Cheers Muz

Scott
Hi Muz, Which firmware version are you running? What actually happens with the % ethanol and Ethanol Temp parameters? Scott
muzzytt
Hi Scott Last Updated firmware in ecu last September so it's fairly new. That is the issue we do not see anything related to those percentages where in vts should we see this? Here is screen shot when I first turned it on Thanks
Scott
Hi Muz, The easiest place to find the ethanol sensor data is in the runtime values window. To access this press F12, change to the Calculated tab and you will be able to see the readings. Scott
muzzytt
Thanks Scott after fiddling around I finally got the ethanol display into the main screen. The option is in the fuel tab. I've relayed this to my tuner. See if this now will tell us if we have a signal or not. Is there a way to check the gm sensor to see if it's ok or not? muzzytt
Is it possible that digital input 1 has failed? Everything else seems to be working ok. How can we test the ethanol sensor to make sure it works? Cheers
Simon
You can test the digital input buy configuring as a GP input and then manually switch the signal to ground.
