Trigger error?

Car model is Lancer Evolution 9.
EVOLINK plug-in is used
The engine rpm becomes abnormal under high load and the rpm limit is triggered.

Is there any countermeasure?

I had the same symptoms when I used the Nissan crank trigger before.
At that time, I replaced it with an AEM trigger plate to counteract the problem.

But this time, I don't know how to countermeasure it.
The number of teeth on the crank trigger plate of the Lancer Evolution 9 is ２.
When I reduced the number of teeth on the Nissan, it stabilized, but for the Mitsubishi, should I increase the number of teeth?

If the trigger error only occures at high load it is more likely an ignition noise problem or possibly a ground offset/voltage problem. 

Can you do a trigger scope capture at a similar RPM and load to when the error normally occurs so we can check if there are any clues showing in that.

The error doesn't occur every time, but it often does under heavy load.
I'll check the errors in the trigger scope.

Misfires can sometimes cause trigger errors - is the air/fuel and igntion system up to the task at high load?

Ignition system is stock.
Boost pressure is 3 bar absolute.

Are you saying that there is a possibility of a trigger error from misfiring?

The Evo wasted spark ignition system is very noisy, make sure it has resistor spark plugs, a relatively small spark gap (~0.7mm), and the HT lead boots and coil stalks are tight fitting with no cracks etc.

I agree with good resistor plugs and tighter plug gap.  Does it have trigger errors at 2.5 bar absolute?

Absolute pressure 2.5bal showed an error when the plug was old

New plugs are a quick cure for a weaker igntion.  I would try a tighter gap on the plugs or improving the strength of the spark.

Possibly just the error event was too short to be captured by the statistics (one tooth event).
