Trigger error?

Recommended Posts

I had the same symptoms when I used the Nissan crank trigger before.
At that time, I replaced it with an AEM trigger plate to counteract the problem.

But this time, I don't know how to countermeasure it.
The number of teeth on the crank trigger plate of the Lancer Evolution 9 is 2.
When I reduced the number of teeth on the Nissan, it stabilized, but for the Mitsubishi, should I increase the number of teeth?

If the trigger error only occures at high load it is more likely an ignition noise problem or possibly a ground offset/voltage problem.

Can you do a trigger scope capture at a similar RPM and load to when the error normally occurs so we can check if there are any clues showing in that.

失火は時々トリガーエラーを考える可能性があります - 空気/燃料および点火システムは高負荷での長時間に耐えられますか?

Yes, sir.
We've got enough fuel.
Ignition system is stock.
Boost pressure is 3 bar absolute.

Are you saying that there is a possibility of a trigger error from misfiring?

What measures have you taken?

The Evo wasted spark ignition system is very noisy, make sure it has resistor spark plugs, a relatively small spark gap (~0.7mm), and the HT lead boots and coil stalks are tight fitting with no cracks etc.

Coils and plugs function properly
Coil noise is addressed

The running log records 19000 rpm, but the ECU stats do not record it why?

私は、優れた抵抗プラグと狭いプラグギャップに同意します。絶対 2.5 bar でトリガーエラーはありますか?

Absolute pressure 2.5bal showed an error when the plug was old

Possibly just the error event was too short to be captured by the statistics (one tooth event).
