chase.earle
I have Storm G4+ and two CAN Lambda's. Storm has one set of CAN wires (one HIGH and one LOW). I have the CAN Lambda's wired in with Link's CAN Splitters, two of them because also have a Link Dash. The Storm can't recognize the second CAN Lambda. It shows a sporadic power issue, and all three share the same power source and the other CAN Lambda and the dash work fine. Any ideas? Confused
It can support up to 8 CAN Lambdas. Each one, out of the box, is configured as Lambda 1. You need to connect them only one at a time, to reconfigure the extras as Lambda 2, Lambda 3 etc, then finally, you can connect back the one you want as Lambda 1. chase.earle
Ok, I will try this, thank you And its ok to plug a CAN Splitter into another CAN Splitter to gain additional ways to plug in components?
Confused
Yes, it is fine to use multiple splitters.
Adamw
Make sure you also only have 1 CAN channel set to CAN lambda in the CAN set up too, the one channel will receive data from all connected lambdas. If you have more than 1 channel assigned I have seen odd stuff happen.
chase.earle
I really appreciate your guys help on this. I actually have not touched the car over winter since this post and now just getting back to it. I uploaded a drawing of how I will attempt to connect and configure the CAN Lambdas. Unless someone sees an issue? Like should I move the dash to the second splitter and one of the CAN Lambdas to the first splitter? Or does it matter? Thank you! Adamw
Yes the connection like that should be fine. Make sure you initially only connect lambda 2 to the ecu and reprogram it as lambda 2 before plugging in lambda 1.
