I'm about to start wiring a Toyota 2zz-ge for the G4 Storm and not sure about how to wire the Crankshaft Angle Sensor.  What type of unit does the 2zz have?  What voltage does it need 12, 8 or 5?

For that matter, what about the the cam sensors?

Cheers, Mark

Hey Mark,

I don't have any wiring diagrams or info on the on 2zz-ge cam and crank sensors. They are likely to be reluctor sensors. Perhaps someone else on the forum will have some info they can share.

They are reluctor type. You actually have 3 different connections. G22+ for cam angle, NE+ for crank angle and NE- which is the negative connection for both NE+ an G22+. For correct wiring take NE- from the ECU Side of the loom and wire it to 'Sensor Ground'. NE+ will go to Trig 1  and G22+ will go to Trig 2 . Unfortunately I am not sure regarding setup... I think its the same as for 3SGTE.
