James Wingfield Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 I've currently got a G3 ECU running my car and have previously used a laptop with PCLink installed to do the mapping, but I would like to start using a tablet instead. Has anyone already got that setup working and if not, is there any plan to release a version of PCLink that would run on a tablet? Thanks, Wingers Quote
Stevieturbo Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 I can see the appeal of this myself in some respects. More as a novelty though than proper tuning tool. or as an in-car dash display would be cool too, either tablet or phone app, but not allowing any actual map changes. I dont see how they would achieve good safe functionality for use as a tuning tool without a keyboard though. Quote
James Wingfield Posted December 29, 2011 Author Report Posted December 29, 2011 I'm planning to have the tablet as my in-car display so yes, more for the display than tuning. Although If it's possible then I'll see how it goes with tuning. My laptop battery has died so if it would work sensibly with the tablet then it would save me buying a new battery and/or laptop.
