VelocityWizards
I am attempting to use a Link CAN Lambda with a Megasquirt MS3X. I have set the transmission speed to 500k to be compatible with the ECU, and am successfully receiving data. Lambda is reading nonsense but appears to be getting conflicting data. It will occasionally flash to what looks like might be a sensible value but is usually stuck full lean. I think the ECU doesn't know how to handle the compound message that the CAN Lambda sends. Immediately after reading the Lambda it is reading the following message on ID 950 which would be the pump current. This is the current theory anyway. Is it possible for the Megasquirt to happily work with the CAN lambda?
Electredge
@Adamw @Vaughan I checked this earlier today... i'm by no means a megasquirt expert but couldn't get it to work either VelocityWizards
Adamw
I just had a poke around in tunerstudio with "MS3 Example Project" and I dont see any way to define a compound/multiplex CAN message, so I would say it is not going to work. With no way to specify which frame contains the data you want you will get lambda and pump current continuously overwritting each other. Laminar
Here's how the Spartan3 does it - is that not enough configurability to point the MS3X at the right bits? https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0189/1312/files/Interfacing_Spartan_3_to_MegaSquirt_3_fcd5ea86-55d3-4081-86b4-cc21ba16f055.pdf
VelocityWizards
It appears the Spartan3 doesn't transmit a compound message like the Link CAN Lambda does Relevant section in the manual:

VelocityWizards
I was able to confirm the Megasquirt does not support compound CAN.
