Subaru EJ207 VVT Setup

Hi guys

Could someone send me some configurations and some tuning advice on the VVT setup for the Subaru EJ20, specifically EJ207 motor if there is?

Under my ECU Settings, VVT Control, VVT Setup I seem to have the defaults in there.Cam control mode is Subaru AVCS EJ20.PID Setup default, RPM lockout is 1500rpm, ECT Lockout is 20, Inlet and Exhaust Centerline display is off, Active inlet and exhaust table is set to 1 table

The actual place where I seem to need settings is the VVT Inlet target table, which is 0 all round the while table, which is surely the most retarded (safest) position.

Have you looked at any of the base calibrations that are included in the software download?

I know the v7-9 and v10 Subaru cals have good starting points for the avcs Subaru engines.

Hi there! Like I stated, I do not have any default values, my values are all 0.

Just as Brad suggested the base maps supplied with PCLink are populated with numbers that should be a reasonable starting point for a stock engine.

Hi, so sorry, My tables are 0 ?? So weird. I have a STI V7 to configure, can I use the V8 VVT, they are similar ?

You are right, I just found the V7 map has a zero'd table in it?  Yes, use the V8 table.  Note there is an import/export function in the software so you dont need to type this in manually.
