  1. Hi Jono, that is the correct setting for an ignition switch. If you still have issues post up your PCL file. Is this a new install or old and this fault has just occurred. Regards Dave.
  2. Hi Kerem, Do you have a link or information about your third party e-throttle controller, I need to see how it works and what type of inputs it requires. Otherwise this will be a question for Simon or one of the Link Engineers to answer. I am mainly ViPEC orientated when it comes to DBW so I am used to setting things up onboard with the ECU and software sorry. Regards Dave.
  3. Hi Weldon, can you post your PCL file and a link or something with the information for your gauges. Regards Dave.
  4. Kerem, I need more information, what vehicle are you trying to set this up on for a start and can you post your PCL file so I can see how you have set things up so far. You do have the LINKÂ External DBW controller don't you. Regards Dave
  5. Hi Kerem, I have seen both , Ione increases in voltage while the other decreases. I have also had DBW sensors read 0 to 100 % on signal 1 and max out at 85% on signal 2. So it is dependant on what brand it is. Use a multi meter the check the resistance value of signal 1 and 2. Do this test with the ignition off obviously. Regards Dave.
  6. Hi Jose', If you are at sea level the MAP sensor should read approx. 101.1 or so Kpa, Baro will read close to this dependant on the actual Barometric pressure on the day. If you do a calibration on the MAP sensor does it say completed successfully or does it have an error. Please post your PCL file. Regards Dave.
  7. Hi Saxon, Post your PCL file, what fuel type and engine mods please. Regards Dave.
  8. No worries, they are quite a good little display being touch screen and all, it is a shame the have stopped making them. Regards Dave.
  9. Hi, Variable valve timing really needs to be tuned on the dyno, it is the only way to truly know if you are going forwards or back wards. When making changes to the target tables go in steps of 5 degrees at a time, once you see your torque drop off you, then decrease the value by 1 degree at a time until you hit the sweet spot. You must make sure that your engine is also a free running motor, meaning that if you advance the cam timing too much that you have no piston / valve contact. Regards Dave.
  10. Hi, I have attached one of my base files for a V88. With basic VVTi setup done. Make sure you use ver 4.10.2 software/firmware Regards Dave PRO TUNING
  11. Hi, no the one below that, the serial / CAN BUS connector Regards Dave.
  12. Hi JamesB, Try the attached PCL FILE and report back if the fan comes on when the A/C Compressor clutch activates. Fan should also cut in if temp exceeds 90 deg C. Regards Dave. R33 GTR Eurospec1_sept14 A CON FAN SETTINGS.pcl
  13. Hi Koo, long time no see. In all honesty it is the luck of the draw with this issue. I have lots of cars running ViPEC ECU'S with CDI's and wasted spark running NON resistive sparkplugs without comms issues, dropping off line etc. I think out of all the cars I have done , there is only two I have to remove the non resistive plugs and fit resistor plugs to stay online with the ecu when doing tuning changes. If you twist the positive and negative wires from the CDI UNIT to the coils it does reduce noise and keep the CDI output wires as far away as possible from the ECU and it's wiring. Regards Dave
  14. Hi Gijs, I just connected the cable into the correct port on the ECU, selected the ECU TYPE from the drop down selection on the touch screen and it worked. There was no need to setup any data protocols etc within the ECU at all. Regards Dave.
  15. Hi Nick, do you need this file for the VVTi table, I have PCL start files but not sure if I have any with the VVTi table tuned. Regards Dave.
  16. Hi Gijs, You need to connect the ECU DATA SCAN to the Serial/CAN socket, Then select the ECU type from the drop down menu on the touch screen. The DATA SCAN wont work if you have your laptop connected at the same time. How long ago did you purchase the dash, I got one years ago, they work great, but then the website got hacked and never heard anymore about them. If they are available again I will buy a few. Regards Dave.
  17. Hi Jamesb, It would be easier if you posted the PCL file so we can see how he has set it all up. If you put the A/CON fan aux output into TEST ON mode does the fan run. What version Firmware/Software are you using and what version is loaded into your ECU. Also you may have to change the polarity of the DIGITALINPUT TO LOW and PULL UP ON. I have attached a copy of the default setup should be set as. Regards Dave.
  18. Hi Rene', Sorry for the delayed reply, the G4+ XTREME has to have internal knock enabled. You need to contact your LINK dealer to purchase an unlock code. Regards Dave.
  19. Hi Rene' I am unsure of why your trigger offset has changed, unless you also changed something in the triggers , for example trigger edge falling or rising, pull up on or off, not sure. Are you using IDLE IGNITION TIMING TABLE ? Or running the idle timing off the main ignition table. What type of idle device does it have or is it DBW. LINK G4+ XTREME, I am unsure if Knock Internal Control is a standard or an option on this model, I will have to look that up sorry. Regards Dave.
  20. Hi Hardy, what would you like to know. I have done a few Supra's with big singles. Regards Dave.
  21. Hi Bob, Do you have a spare DI you can setup, use a dual pole relay and set the second output from the relay to another DI to achieve what you want. Sorry for the lame work around, I am very busy and just thought I would suggest this as a temporary setup until myself or Simon have time to make a pcl configuration up and test it for you. Is this setup separate to your earlier IC SPRAYER question. Regards Dave.
  22. Hi Ian, I have attached a base file I made up for an R32 GTR I did, this base file resulted in a 413 HP @ wheels at 18 psi. The PCL file is from an i88 however. So load the current iVTS software ver 5.1.0 Save this file to that software then open LINK G4 and iVTS and copy and paste the Fuel table etc over, best I can do sorry. I don't have the time at present to make you up a G4 file. Regards Dave.
  23. Hi, try the attached file and let me know if this is what you want. Regards Dave.
  24. Hi Bob, just checking I have this correct, You wish to activate an IC SPRAYER from AUX 4 which is the Boost solenoid and you wish to make AUX 3 the SPRAYER. You state that it is the fuel pump relay, however in the pcl file it shows as chassis power relay. Regards Dave.
  25. Hi Bob, sorry I have been very busy. I have the file now, I will sort it out today and post up the modified file. Regards Dave.
