You could probably get even more simple, dont need the R1 or R5 as there is no range check.
Toyota GT86 example below. It will give roughly 0V, 1V, 2V, 3V,5V with enough margin to allow the volt tolerance setting to ignore any combined button presses.

If the key already powers other stuff that is not going to be moved to the PDM then all the PDM needs is an Ign Sw signal from the same switch. The ECU should be connected to the same source as injectors and coils so it is applying correct deadtimes and dwell times, so if those are powered from the PDM then the ECU should be too.
They will be fine all on the one bus.

Iv probably answered my own questions , I should look in the obvious place 1st and follow the help file setup
assuming my x series controller is set as ID 0 i believe the following should work have loaded the AEM x series streams, will see how it goes when I get the wiring finished off and get to testing.
