  1. What is your actual issue? I'm sure with a bit of work a solution can be found. It is entirely possible there is an issue on the car that might not effect factory system but can effect ours.

    Error in pc link

Did you manually delete the folder or did you do it through the add remove programs function in windows? To do a manual delete you will need to go to the C drive and delete the Link G4 folder.
  3. Do you have a G3 lem or a G3 Linkplus, LEM has a single plug header the Plus has 4 plug header.
  4. the 0 1 and 2 are the three possible states of the aux out. Being not in use / not selected, On and Off So when you test you will find only two rows are ever active.
  5. Have updated you to full access with the serial number provided. On the XS connector in your case the version in iVTS is the correct one. AN Volt11 is on the 4pin connection. To me this seems odd to have two connectors when one would do the trick ill put it to engineering to change this on next revision.
  6. I think with the Haltech the dash is a matched unit with custom firmware. I was under the impression that it looks for a specific ID from the ECU.
  7. Hi Marcel It is in the VTS help file. Can Not Communicate with Vi-PEC Tuning Software For help on setting up communications initially refer HERE. Check that a dash, display or logger is not connected to the ECUs Serial/CAN connector. Disconnect the dash during tuning. Dashes that use serial communications will not allow the ECU to communicate with Vi-PEC Tuning Software or do a firmware update. Reconnect the dash after tuning. Note that the dash can stay connected if it uses a CAN communication but must not have any wires connected to the ECUs serial TX/RX pins.

    Knock Monitoring

Ill put it to the Sales/marketing team.
  9. Its really Racepaks call we have provided all the info they need and I think they have even got it to prototype stage. But have not see a release version of a CAN interface.
  10. Hi Andy I have passed on to engineering and they informed me that it will be put on to the wish list. They will look at adding an option to reset on engine stall.
  11. Hi Motornord would be your best bet but I suspect it will need to head in this direction.

    Knock Monitoring

No, but I do like your thinking.

It came through the door today
  14. Sometimes there could be an ECU issue (failed component) other times it can be due to changes made to the car. Our known issues tend to be for when there is a consistent issue that will happen every time under known conditions.
  15. It is connected to the same plug that the CAN comes out on but will be using the serial TX and RX wires.
  16. The rule for any dash that is using the serial data stream is to disconnect at the ECU plug when tuning is being done. This is because the same data is being used for both tasks and having two devices connected is likely to cause issues.
  17. No is the short answer. The general guide would be that the bigger the injectors the smaller the master to start with. You can normally get the master close very quickly. And with some tuning experience it will become second nature. You could derive your own equation using injector flow, fuel density, engine CC and all the other parameters given that master is the injector PW at 100kPa MAP and 100 in the VE tbale if all other trims are zero.
  18. At this point in time as far as I know racepak is still using the Serial (in the same CAN plug) and then converting through their Vnet module. I do know they have been working on a true CAN option but have not seen one in the flesh yet.

At this point it does not look to be in the building, however I will check with servicing department tomorrow morning to be sure.
  20. All could be modified to suit a tooth per TDC reluctor sub-board. To suit this you will need a tooth for each TDC event and a sync pulse (single tooth)
  21. That looks on the money to me with out actually trying it on the bench. I would suggest testing with the starter output not connected first and watch when it can be made active in the runtimes before connecting up the starter to it.
  22. Best to take a picture with the lid off the ECU and email to [email protected] Just to confirm the sub-board fitted, If it is an opto/Hall board you will need to have this changed for a reluctor based one. The catch is that if you are using the 20V distributor for the triggers we do not have the correct sub-board available as we have finally run out of our old stocks.

    target AFR map

It is VE based calculation. The table is limited as it dose not require the same resolution as the main fuel map might. This saves space in the memory for other tables and functions.
  24. The V series will not work with the KMS only the i Series can.
  25. Not at this stage as we don't yet know the cause. And weather it is applicable to a stock standard model.
