    v44 for 2001 Miata

Hi No we only have the V44 or V88 wireins to cover this application.

Hi Karim On PC logging you can.
  3. Do you by chance happen to be running fuel pressure as an input to the ECU? If so try it with the fuel pressure set up as a general pressure input.
  4. Hi Andy On reading through I can not see any issues with that set up. You have put a lot of thought in to that. Thank you for taking the time to post it to aid others.
  5. We can also do a CANF which is a field installable connector that is able to have wires soldered direct to it.
  6. No there is no available space to add extra cal tables.
  7. I would be sticking to MAP based tuning. The tables can totally be edited to only cover vacuum. If you press the X key when in the tables it will bring up the axis setup window.
  8. Stoich Mode (wide Band) will reference to the AFR target table. Increasing or decreasing to match the fuel to the target. Assuming all conditions are met.
  9. Good to hear its up and running. Arming voltage should be about halt the peak positive voltage.
  10. Hi Gregg We don't have a direct plugin to suit the 99 application we only cover the OBD1 cars up to about 96 Only option would be a wire in. For pricing the nearest dealer will be the ones to talk with.
  11. Hi Darryn You can drive the pump direct with the aid of a solid state relay. This is due to the current required to run the pump being greater than what the ECU can deliver. With the solid state relay you can then PWM control the pump based on engine temp. Running low duty cycles at cold temps and increasing as the temp increases. Unfortunately there isn't the ability to keep it running after shut down inless you have an override switch which could run the pump full speed.

    G4 Firmware Update

As the ecu is not fitted and tuned it is no problem to work through the warnings and do an upgrade.
  13. Just make sure you have the trigger 2 / sync mode set to none.
  14. Does it stay with a high idle all the time? If it goes to a very high RPM its likely to be an air leak in the intake. It could also be the ISC is not set correctly.
  15. It could be the switch settings on the sub-board. The switch is the other side of the LED to the sync switch. This should if fitted be set to 0. Failing that make sure the cas is installed in correct spot. Some times the locating flat can be broken off allowing it to be put in in the wrong spot.
  16. The grounds are all common on the board so you can get away with it. But it would be better to have them following what the pinout suggests. Looms normally match the suggested colours in the manual. However some dealers have produced milspec looms that are mostly white. (the wire is quite different to regular automotive wire)
  17. Correct and assuming the function is turned on.
  18. That will operate fine. Frequency will be ~25Hz We actually sell the larger valve also. Normally only needed on big Hp twin setup.

  20. Thanks for posting this Im sure it will help out.
  21. It took a bit of finding. It must be cold enough here that the board tested fine on the bench. It started failing when we warmed it up with a heat gun!
  22. No more news at this point. If doing it with two ECU's you could use two V44's and treat the engine like two 4 cylinders. Doing and intake and an exhaust each.
  23. If open loop AFR is off then the AFR table is only used as a reference / target for closed loop lambda control.
  24. Hi Mark Is the ecu logging errors / faults in the run times view (F12) Check the ECU status tab to see what if any errors are showing.
