  1. One trick to try is to have you base position slightly higher so that when you snap the throttle it comes back to a slightly high idle and then brings it lower What duty cycle values are you currently seeing at a stable idle? I would expect the solenoid frequency to be closer to 300hz
  2. ALS setup varies greatly from person to person as some like a very aggressive lag and others only light anti lag. Really you are best to work through the help file and make small changes at a time and work in to it slowly.
  3. Hi Terry This could be configured to suit the rover, It is likely that it would need a sub-board change.

    VL plugin

It does in a modern G4 version.
  5. Hi Unfortunately this is a bug that has been known about for some time however it happens very infrequently and we have not been able to capture it in house to be able to find a cause. I would suggest continuing the storing with F4 in the time being.
  6. Yes that can be done. You can base the target table off of RPM and timer value. You can then trigger the timer off say RPM so over a given RPM the timer starts. You will need the latest firmware in the ECU's to allow this function. If trying to set up on an old PCL file this could give you errors.
  7. Assuming you are UK based Peter at Thor racing would be the guy to talk with as he will be able to talk to us and perform the mods.
  8. The TPS requires hardware changes requiring 3 components to be changed. For the injector duty cycle this requires a link to be placed between an injector drive out put and the correct signal wire to the MFD. This link needs to go between pins 101 and 17 on the header.
  9. There must also some form of back feed as the fuel pump should loose its power when the key is turned off. So even if it had a permanent earth it should switch off with the key.
  10. Given it is load related it is likely noise is getting on to the USB coms. I would suggest resistive plugs but the IK22's are so no change needed there. Make sure the block is grounded really well to the chassis. And if all that fails then you can try a serial tuning cable but you will need a serial port on the laptop.
  11. You would need two min maybe 3 of them to combine the signals of the 4 coils.
  12. This is due to the drives being paired when in group fire mode. If you are using high impedance injectors you can run two groups of 3 and then have drives 3 and 4 free for other uses.
  13. Hi Matt I would be starting with the crank/cam sensor and the wiring to and from them. Need to make sure the signals are getting back to the ECU.
  14. You could fit a coil (like in a relay) to the tacho output so it switches the coil and then trigger off the feedback from the coil.
  15. Hi Ludovic Try using the V7-9 map sensor option and see if it will let you perform the calibration. Some of the later V6 models were fitted with the later map sensor.
  16. Only thing in the ECU to limit spark will be the Limits. Any errors for AN inputs will show at the top of PCLink screen. You can also look in the ECU stats to see what the max readings have been.
  17. Couple of things to check. You can try turning the pullup off and then back on again in the ECU on that DI. I would also suggest checking the wiring to the sensor as i have now seen a number of BMW's where the wiring is in a bad way and the insulation is coming off the wires causing shorts.
  18. I would actually suggest the best option would be to get it run up for a check on the dyno. As the tuner can then give it a proper check for mixtures as well as knock. However fitting of the knock block is not too hard. The setting up to work in with the ECU is much more involved and is better left to experienced users.
  19. You can but no need as they are common back at the ECU end.
  20. I think the ignition coil one would need to be bigger as each coil will pull up to 8amps each but of course at any one time all 6 will not be on I would suggest a 30A
  21. Ground can be just one white wire the other can be covered and not used. Power can be from main relay (key switched) Shield should be left not connect at the sensor end.
  22. Such a big job to do such a conversion! Nice Baja by the way!

Im sure there are some out there. If I come across one Ill get them to post.
