  1. Scott Not great news at all. Sounds like i should just can the idea. As it seems the system was only designed to be run with a specific number of teeth. Either that or i have to sell this and go the thunder which i sort of can't be stuffed going through another wire job etc. Was really hoping that when i upgraded from the v88 this would be the ultimate for my setup turns out its not. Thanks for your help anyway Muz
  2. Ok 0.67 and 0.65 is what I've got My bad was looking at circumference instead.
  3. Thanks for the input appreciated. Simon if i can get tc to work to 125kmh I'll be content with that. So we measure as in the picture above straight across ? Cheers
  4. its 2.014m iput the dimensions into the calculator that's what it came up with 2014mm
  5. ok stalling was because the lock out settings where too low. thats solved. Im doing the wheel caliobration in the help files it says (Number of Sensor Teeth / Wheel Diameter) * 31.83. Note that wheel diameter is in meters the teeth are 48 the diameter of the wheel is 2014 so im presuming thats 48 teeth x 31.83 which equals 1527 ?
  6. Scott I'll do that and get back to you. Adam thanks I'll have a play with that also. Cheers
  7. So something like the haltech will work with the fury ? I would love some extra di
  8. I've just got traction control wired up on my fury. Car is a97 supra vvti . Has the 4 channe abs system. There was 4 wires from the abs feeding into the oem ecu. So I've wired up one front wheel and one rear wheel to digital inputs. When tc is enabled car stalls on movement. I'm out of di to wire up any more wheel sensors.. Another issue in being told is that the fury is not going to be perfect for my supra as its limited to 500hz . I wish i knew about the thunder coming out and this issue before upgrading from my vipec v88. Anyway I'll happy to use it to its limits. Unless someone wants to buy the fury off me. I've attached the pcl file. Cheers
  9. Good luck i spent hours trying to resolve this with no success on my 2jzgte vvti . I ended up feeding tp main to both inputs on the link same with fp main fed that to both link inputs.
  10. Just got a question regarding this . Do i need to re calibrate the map sensor on the new ecu? I say this as currently its reading like 6psi at idle ? That's not right I'm guessing. Cheers
  11. Dave car is wired up and running perfect. only issue I am having is when I switch the traction to off the light illuminates but immediately the engine shuts off. is there a reason its doing this I'm sure its all wired up correct . with digi input 9 we have 12v fed to it from the switch.
  12. There should be a base file in the pc link software.
  13. Its a bit funny before reading your comments i was having a play and using the rocker switch i was getting no where. So i saw that there was option for second table so i turned it on. This gave extra option to use di #9 to toggle between tables . I set one of the tables to limit wheelspin via the table 2 and left everything on 0 on table 1. So when i switched the rocker up it would illuminate the led on the rocker switch and activate the stock light in the dash. Am i correct to think this will work? Because with one table only selected i don't see any option to use table 1 by itself and activated deactivated by di #9 Cheers
  14. Dave just to update the dash light works dirrctly from the out put. I'm using di 9 for the traction control disable switch . Using that switch the status is allways off in the v runtime values list. The option is only available under di ? Cheers
  15. Dave from memory yes. All the current connections are as per the pdf file i attached a few posts back. I will have a look when I'm back infront of the laptop Cheers
  16. Dave I'm in the process of wiring this up and wanted to use sin existing switch I have in my possession. it has a led light in it . it has ground 12v and load connections . can this be used with turning the traction control on and off . also I see a traction control light option in the aux outputs menu can I wire this to the supra!s stock traction control light in the dash board ? I have a single wire in the ecu loom connecting straight to this should work ? cheers Muz Link to the switch http://www.jaycar.com.au/Electromechanical-Components/Switches/Rocker/30A-12VDC-Red-LED-Illuminated-Rocker-Switch/p/SK0955
  17. Dave we did observe the blade movement and it was moving correctly. I've checked and re checked the wiring and its all correct according to the pdf file i had from the vipec days. I even reversed the tp main and sub allocations around. Literally spent 10 hours going over everything! Thanks anyway mate I'm happy to send you the dbw throttle body from my vvti v8 1uz if you want to have a play. Cheers Muz
  18. Dave, Simon no go no matter what I do the TPS sub only goes up to 63% even though during calibration it registers 100% . I don't get it why during setup does it go to 100% and soon as I get out of setup it wont go more than 60 odd percent . Dave I did all that you asked to no joy. I'm just going to feed the single TP main feed into both inputs in the fury. the foot position sensor doesn't seem to be giving errors so Ill try this first. the issue is do I run a big risk doing it like this ? if so is there any way to implement a safety step into the system. I'm not entirely cut up on it as I plan to modify the throttle body to a GM LS3 throttle body once I modify my intake manifold.
  19. i was looking at those tables last night . I'll give thata shot too. The main issue is the sub volt not corresponding with the main of the tps. On full throttle main is at 5v sub is at 4v . Simon i just checked the fault settings for an6 and 7 both are set to 5v high and 0.01v low. Error values are set to 100%
  20. Hi Dave Thanks for the tips looks like I'll be having fun today. Reading your notes on the fps calibration regarding where the blade stops well not sure on Nissan system but the toyota fps doesn't do anything until the last 15% for limp home feature if the electric throttle fails. Fun and games
  21. Oh i also noticed after calibration that it reaches 100 percent throttle reading way before it actually does on the throttle body. When it reaches 100% on the laptop reading there's still about 15 percent more to go till i reach throttle plate stop . This by turning the fps on the engine by hand.
  22. Ok i give up lol i plugged in my 1uz throttle body same result. Plugged in v8 tps same result. Tested the tps and fps sensor with ohm meter both within factory specs. Might just go back to how it was seems no one in the world has successfully implemented this . Bugger
  23. Btw the 60 gain was from the setup files as per the picture you provided.
