  1. Thanks for that. It’s definitely been a learning process trying to replicate the G4+ settings. Maybe it’s just because I’m not used to it but the input/output settings are so tedious. I preferred how the G4+ had all the setting in the same spot.
  2. Is there a way to just load my old tune onto the new ecu? Or do I have to start completely from scratch? I did read in the help file that you can copy tables individually, that seems like a pain. My setup is pretty complicated...
  3. Thanks for that. It is an issue with the VirtualBox setup. Parallels worked straight away How do I now upload my G4+ tune onto the G4X? The file types are different right? Edit: I'll ask this as a new topic.
  4. I have them both visible now, but both with yellow warnings.
  5. Yes, 6.19.65 There are no Ports visable unless I select "Show Hidden Devices" I'm using a VirtualBox Windows10 on a Macbook. It's worked perfectly with the G4+ over the past 3 years. I've just uninstalled the Link USB COM3 under ports incase it was trying to look for the old ecu. Then unistalled the USB driver and reinstalled. Cycled power. Still no luck.
  6. I've tried to search everywhere sorry. - Have uninstalled the G4+ software. - Installed G4X software and restarted multiple times, including uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. - It recognises the G4X USB connection in device manager with the yellow triangle (code 10). - Com cable is plugged into the one with the orange ring, and I have a AIM dash connected via the CAN wired outputs on the loom. - Everything worked normally on the G4+ Any help would be appreciated!
  7. I chased every sensor ground, and removed almost the entire loom from the car and they all came up good (except for 3ohm resistance on one wire from the original Link loom sensor ground splice. Replaced that to be safe). - I finally tried another E throttle body and that fixed the issue up the front. (original TB was damaged in a crash about 5 events ago, so it must've finally given up) - I also tried another trim pot switch and that also fixed that issue too! (I'll do some tests on the switch and probably try to get a refund) So everything seems to be good, and I have confidence that at least the sensor grounds are good because they've now all been checked! Thanks again or your help. I've learnt some new things from this experience!
  8. Thanks so much for your help. I look forward to chasing my grounds tomorrow!
  9. If I’m doing it right. It starts at 1.5Mohm and slowly increases.....
  10. 5v is constant over the whole range of the switch.
  11. it’s giving me the same result. that’s the trim pot switch rotating as in the earlier video. This is how the TPS is reacting. (Full throttle, letting off slowly) TP main/sub and AP main/sub all share the same 5v and GND, so i'm leaning towards a fault in the TP Sub AN wire.
  12. Hi Adam. Do I just try to ram the multimeter into the back of the ECU plug? My main issue is with the TPS sub doing the same thing. Because it constantly reverts to limp mode.
  13. Hi everyone. Link Fury, 1.5JZ. I wired it in over 2 years ago and it’s been faultless. I have an issue that only started recently. First with a trim pot switch (the AEM one), and has now appeared in my TPS sub signal. - ECU is showing a steady 5v output. - with the trim pot and now TPS sub, once the voltage gets to around 2.5v it just starts to drop gradually. - this causes an error in the TPS. All other sensors using 5v reference are fine. Oil press, fuel press, ethanol, pedal position etc. here’s a video of the trim switch.
  14. Thanks for that! And thank you for the quick response.
  15. Hello! I've been searching a lot but can't find an exact pinout for the 370Z pedal position sensor. It's being used with a Link Fury and 350Z throttle body on a JZ. I have all the info on 350Z PPS but not 370Z. Thank you!
  16. Is there a way to do this with an E-throttle? When the car is stalled, the throttle body (and TPS) doesn’t move with the pedal input. Cheers - Link Fury, V35 pedal and throttle body
  17. Is there any word on when the update will be re-released? My tuner updated my ecu's firmware when it was on the dyno 2 weeks ago and I haven't been able to connect to it since because I don't have 5.6.6 on my laptop. Thanks
