I have seen that later subaru's crank pulleys with more teeth than the classics use the same crank angle sensor, which means it should be plug and play.

Is this of any use other than more precise timing gestion, on an engine without avcs?

A friend is running an atom 4+ ecu, what would be the available sensor inputs available if he uses a ecu Can board v3?

I am not sure where to find AN and DI functions available from can (gearbox switches, oil P and T...)

edit: Ok, I found the list in "Parameter selection" and "receive". apparently oil T not availablen even with pull up on an volt.

Oil temp on a AN Volt input would be set up as a GP temp - you then name it Oil temp.

CAN analog inputs are a bit limited with the G4+, there are a few basic native ones - Oil & Fuel Press, then you have the 8 generic CAN AN Volt channels.  The CAN AN V's cant be renamed or have units assigned, so if you use those you have to remember that "CAN AN V1" is oil temp, and say 320kpa will show as 320.0V.

Correct, you cant do non linear calibration via CAN AN Volt in the G4+.

and its no kpa but degres?

That was just an example to show the CAN AN Volt channels will always use volts as units and always with a 1 decimal point resolution - so it is not always intuitive.  G4X is much more flexible, but G4+ has some restrictions.

Good afternoon!

I'm fighting some CAN gremlins on a WRX4x with a Xseries on canbus the for lambda

Somehow it is recieving intermitently the value pf lambda 1and then gives 1 (lamda error)

Can bus status is all green

I tried both can 1 and 2, with ID1 and 2 in the x series (384 and 385 in link)

cal file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1urWlq4OxD4hIzeoAjNe2eBbMWuXx7LLV/view?usp=sharing

and log file where you can see the lambda jump. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qPa8F5l1toKRm006hUFtJHL8H3rQhEqk/view?usp=sharing

what seems like is that the value when it jumps coresponds to the gauge.

120ohm termination resistor has been added.

first g4x for me, so maybe I overlooked something in the lambda parameter definiton?

Same car as above, tune :https://drive.google.com/file/d/1urWlq4OxD4hIzeoAjNe2eBbMWuXx7LLV/view?usp=sharing

according to AEM documentation  degC = [ 41.25 * Pulsewidth (ms) ] - 81.25

so for 54hz and 15% duty that should show about 35°C

posting here to avoid mixing with g4x stuff. Ecu g4+ storm

Regarding the ecumaster can switch board. I had until now a regular ANvolt where I wired a 3 position switch sending 0V when middle, 2.3V when low and 4.9V when high. I use that to toggle a GP output based on voltage condition OR engine FAN condition, to have a in car fan switch but also full ecu control.

Now I want to control the same thing but the voltage comming trough CAN AN volt from the switch board. however I cannot seem to find the can volt data in the list of condition (only CAN DI or CAN TC). is that really not possible?

Yeah CAN analogs are relatively limited in G4+.  No option to calibrate or label, only available in limited functions - mostly table axis and as raw variables.

Easiest workaround is probably to receive that particular input as a CAN TC instead provided you are not already using all 8.

So I've finally got hold of the board after two months of fight. Nothing had to be soldered regarding the jumper, running my X series lamda on same bus too.

DI's worked right of the bat.

ANVolt, I had to put a 10000 offset and divider of 10 for the value to be used on a table axis ( max 100)

I didn't plug anyting onto the low side outputs yet.

I got a gtx2867r for my gc8 recently

For the sake of me I cannot find turbo speed sensors for this one without the whole kit that cost over 400€

Anyone has an address to get the 769366-0001 alone so that I can plug it to the ecu?

G series turbos, I can find the sensor alone for 170€ or so, but not from the gtx gen 2 I got.
