ellisd1984
I've just installed and oil temp sensor and the calibration sheet for it shows temp vs resistance in ohms. How will these values be affected with the ecu internal pull up resistor? Or can I simply turn it off and the use the resistance of the sensor itself?https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ilhw9v6n3uf6ty/Screenshot 2021-03-11 at 10.31.11.png?dl=
dx4picco
When you put this temp sensor on an an temp input and the pull up is enabled you just need to fill the calibration table with Ohm vs temp values directly
ellisd1984
Thanks, I wasn't sure if I had to add the value of the pull up to those on the table
koracing
Theoretically the Link knows what it's internal pull-up is and then by supplying the sensor resistance calibration will allow it to calculate the output values correctly. ellisd1984
Yeah I tried switching from 1k to 10k and the values are the same so the penny dropped.
