Agret Posted October 10, 2021 Report Posted October 10, 2021 I have the N350+ variant of the G4+, wanting to add the Haltech WB2 O2 controller to it. What cables / connectors do I need to buy? Currently using the port on the ECU for the USB cable, I assume you need some sort of splitter cable for this port so you can connect the tuning software and the O2 sensors at the same time and then you need an adapter from whatever port the Haltech is outputting to the Link style connector? The manual is pretty vague and i'm having trouble finding information on the cables from Haltech / Link websites. Thanks Quote
Adamw Posted October 10, 2021 Report Posted October 10, 2021 The CAN port is inside the ECU case. Probably best to use the Haltech cables since our devices use a different pinout to theirs. You will need a HT-130048 to connect to the ecu, and probably one of the extension cables such as HT-130025. You will need to open up the ecu case and file a groove for the cable to pass through. Timboj Posted January 23, 2022 Report Posted January 23, 2022 For anyone else in this situation, I used a Link CANJST cable from the ECU and rewired the Haltech controller cable to a female DTM4 connector. Easy peasy and saves a few bucks. RobPhoboS and Johnny405 1 1 Quote
BushidoPerfomanceTuned Posted January 2, 2024 Report Posted January 2, 2024 @Timbojmay i ask for a diagram for how did you make for 12v and ground ? Quote
Timboj Posted January 2, 2024 Report Posted January 2, 2024 Hi mate, I just found a spare 12v and ground (unused connector in my car) near the cabin fan and then added some DTM2 connectors. You'll have plenty of options to splice into 12v somewhere though. Quote
BushidoPerfomanceTuned Posted January 3, 2024 Report Posted January 3, 2024 Thank you soo much dude appreciate it a lot have a great day ! Quote
BushidoPerfomanceTuned Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 Again to revive the old posts but @Timboj was your jst cable 4 or 5 pin? I know that the ecu has 5pin on the board literally have the same setup yours. N350X WB2 linked with canjst. I've think i got an issue but havent still tried anything as i was busy with life events. i've got the 4 pin jst version and not the 5 pin one how big of a pothole am i in ? Quote
Vaughan Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 350Z plugins should all still have the 5 pin CAN plug so you will need to source one of them, if you acquired just a 5 pin housing you could swap the two CAN pins over into it as they use the same crimps between the 4 and 5 pin housings and then hook up the power wire and ground wires externally to the ECU or purchase a 5 pin a cable.
