Grant Baker
Hi I've got an engine that needs an ISCV. The pipe leading to it when fully blocked to fully open gives me a range of +/-300RPM. I need a 2 port, 2 pin ISCV that is fully sealed at 100%. Any ideas? A 3 wire valve would also work...
aerace_fab
What motor are you using or maybe even an idea of the intake manifold?
Grant Baker
Ford 2.0 Zetec on throttle bodies with an idle air manifold branched off each post-butterfly runner. I have a single pipe coming off the idle “manifold” that is appropriately sized to suit an idle valve.
Adamw
What do you mean by "fully sealed at 100%"? 100% DC is usually fully open. The common 2 or 3 wire bosch ones are what I normally go for, hose barb fittings so easy to connect and come in straight or 90deg versions. Grant Baker
Sorry, my mistake. I meant fully sealed at 0%. Do you have a part number for the Bosch ones?
koracing
Bosch 0 280 140 516 for the 90 deg, Bosch 0280 140 545 for the straight through.
Adamw
Also 0280140549 is the two wire straight through version. Note "fully closed" for these bosch valves is usually around 20%DC, below that they start to open again as a fail safe. So for these you set the minimum clamp to ~20% and you wont have numbers in your base pos table below 20.
