K20 vtc wiring and setup

Run the engine at fast idle above the VVT RPM and ECT lockout, then set cam angle test to "calibrate", it will turn itself back to off after a few seconds.  This procedure will populate the tooth offset tables.  Then copy all the other settings out of our K20 base map.

There is a "Monsoon Honda K20" map in the base maps folder that you can use as reference.

The ecu grounds the solenoid, so the other side must go to 12V.

greetings,
I have a question about this, is it necessary to connect or have the switch from the image i attached as a file?

Yeah I believe the oil pressure switch would prevent the engagement of VTEC if the oil pressure was below a certain value.  If you wish to keep this functionality it is best to connect it to a DI and use it as a condition in your VTEC GP output (rather than wired inline to the solenoid), so that the ecu knows not to switch to the 2nd fuel/ign table if VTEC conditions arent met.
