Wee Chia Yung
Request information on k20 vtc wiring and map setup, is the above connection correct?
Adamw
The ecu grounds the solenoid, so the other side must go to 12V.
Wee Chia Yung
Ok thanks. How to configure aux 2 in the link software?
Adamw
Is aux 2 for your VTEC high/low cam, not VTC right?
Wee Chia Yung
I would like to set aux 2 for vtc, vtec high/low already set by using aux1
Adamw
Then you do this in the VVT menu. There is a "Monsoon Honda K20" map in the base maps folder that you can use as reference.

Adamw
There is a drawing in the help file page here: Wiring Information > Output Wiring > Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoids > Specific VVT Applications > Honda K20A VTEC Wiring
Wee Chia Yung
Thanks adamw, done all the wiring, engine start ok, need guide on software setting for vvt
Adamw
Run the engine at fast idle above the VVT RPM and ECT lockout, then set cam angle test to "calibrate", it will turn itself back to off after a few seconds. This procedure will populate the tooth offset tables. Then copy all the other settings out of our K20 base map.
Wee Chia Yung
Thanks adamw, vvt working already, do you have the basemap for vvt table?

koracing
That's most likely a VCT oil pressure sensor. It's most likely not necessary for the VCT to function, but could help in trouble shooting if you are having problems making it work. Adamw
Yeah I believe the oil pressure switch would prevent the engagement of VTEC if the oil pressure was below a certain value. If you wish to keep this functionality it is best to connect it to a DI and use it as a condition in your VTEC GP output (rather than wired inline to the solenoid), so that the ecu knows not to switch to the 2nd fuel/ign table if VTEC conditions arent met.
