Yoshi_GTR
Hello all, I just installed a G4X ECU on my bosses 92 Integra, and Like the title says, its not getting spark on Cyl. 1. We converted the car to Coil on plug, and I have everything wired up to pins A21/A18/A14/A10. I can spark test coils 2-4 and they snap perfectly fine, while cylinder 1 does nothing, I tried swapping A21 to A22 and got nothing from it, and when I check for signal coming out of the ECU I get no signal coming from A21. I think I may have a bad ECU.
koracing
Can you attach a copy of your tune just so any settings can be reviewed? Yoshi_GTR
Yoshi_GTR
I can't at the moment, but it has the base map that can be loaded with the G4X, and the ignition mode is set to direct spark, and the spark edge is set to falling that's it. We haven't fired the car yet, we're just doing checks to make sure everything is firing properly.
Adamw
Have you only got a wire connected to A21 or A22, not both? 5 hours ago, Yoshi_GTR said: when I check for signal coming out of the ECU I get no signal coming from A21. How are you checking the signal? Yoshi_GTR

Yes I have coil 1 connected at A21, but i did switch the wire to A22, and had the same results. I'm checking for signal coming OUT of the ECU via an Autel Lab scope. Continuity is good from the coil to the ECU @.003 Ohms, and coils 2-3 all have grounds on their signal wires except for coil 1. To my understanding Adam it only needs to be to one or the other correct??? Also the kit is a RSX/S2000 coil on plug kit from T1.

So what voltage do you have on Ign 1 pin with ignition on, engine off? Yoshi_GTR

Adamw
Have you measured directly at the ecu header rather than at the coil plug? Yoshi_GTR

Yes sir, it's the same reading for the signal wire, it's just open on both A21/
