AbbeyMS
The Nissan PnP's have a built in canbus resistor ( normally 1 for 1 end of the canbus trunk, so can we get away when just adding 1 item to the canbus without making a canbus trunk ended with resistor? Would make running the excellent Link cambus lambda a lot easier and quicker. Thanks Edited April 2, 2017 by AbbeyMS
Adamw
Some say a CAN bus will often work without termination if the bus is less than about 1 meter long. Personally rather than trial and error I would just do it right in the first place and just fit a resistor. You will probably waste more time chasing a CAN error than you will connecting a resistor. You can usually even crimp them straight in to the same main connector.
AbbeyMS
Adam, okay thanks for the information as you say extra time to make the trunk correctly is better than chase an issue later. Thanks
