Altezza555
Hey I'm having a issue with my 3sge+t beams altezza. I had it tuned recently in Hamilton and am having a issue with it backfiring sometimes when I crank it. It will crank for 2-3 seconds then it backfires. It doesn't do it every time most of the time it will start fine. Any help is appreciated Cheers
Brad Burnett
Please post a copy of your calibration and a log if possible. Could be anything from fuel settings, ignition settings, trigger settings, etc.
Dustynz
Mines does that to more when hot starting just put it down to having big injectors and an aggressive fuel table.
ClintBHP
It might not be even into your fuel table, your pre and post crank tables if you have added bigger injectors they will need trimming.
Adamw
Some of these engines have very low voltage from the cam sensor at cranking speed so your arming threshold table might need some adjustment. Please unplug the coils (so it doesn’t start) and do a trigger scope while cranking. Save as a log file and post that here.
