  1. "Also, these things are supercharged arent they? If so, make sure you have the equation load source set to MAP, the open loop Lambda table turned on (assuming using traditional fuel equation) and make sure the lambda target table has MAP or MGP on the axis. These settings are needed to ensure that boost is properly compensated for (if for instance boost pressure is changed at a later date)." Adam , The load source set to MAP rather than BAP/MAP x over , how much difference will it make with various boost levels ? this setup we are both using is based on my turbo bike , which i use both in Australia at 200m altitude and at Bonneville at 1200m , and so far works great up to where the turbo starts loosing effiancy and i have generated a small map table to remove fuel to compensate I have 6 stages of boost and it seems to work well ?
  2. Hi I am replacing a V88 with a Fury My question is the onboard lambda pinouts, are any of them multi purpose or are they dedicated to listed use Reason for my question is there are a lot of pins used compared to a CAN lambda or even an 0-5v analog input , and with Ethrottle also tieing up a few pins, wondering if i had other options Thanks
  3. And then there was light Thanks Adam makes perfect sense now
  4. Adam i must be more dislexic than i thought , but the trigger 1 here looks correct to me , and trying to figure out why i read it wrong looks to me to rise from 0v to 1.3v then fall to -1.16v and return to 0v do you actually read it at 1.3v and falling to 1.16v ?

    Brilliant Thanks Adam

Thanks for starting this conversation , since the talk about CAN EGT i have brought a Microtech 4 ch CAN EGT and will remove my analog 4 ch to free up some inputs

GTR smart coils on the Ksawasaki H2 I have VAG here, get you a pic comparing them and GTR and Toyota smart coils with original Toyota has been trimmed, diameter of the shaft is too big for the plug recess GTR has various length lower adaptors available, there just a spring inside the insulator and snap off and on as needed LS2 coils also shown, they cold start methanol on that bike with no trouble Oh i did remove the external shield on the VAG for fit too , remembered after looking at your link

Yes Adam CDI coil for CDI system Dyna ARC2 mentioned above is a dual capacitor CDI that runs as waste spark on a 4 cyl , and with 2 ARC's you can run sequential , Similar to the AEM CDI but found them more reliable

There an induction coil , only CDI coil Suzuki made was on the 98-99 gsxr 750 , induction coil will work , but my preference is a CDI coil if i can fit one
  10. No expert but I grounded my bikes to chassis with both wires, and works fine joined power grounds and earthed the single output wire to chassis (be the head for a car)and same with signal gnd , same point on chassis for both

ARC2 works fine, but consider CBR coils as they are CDI type coils , but they are taller and dont fit every application I have LS2 truck type smart coils on the busa , there bigger and need coil leeds , also just fitted the R35 GTR coils on a H2 , and they look promising for the Suzukis too I prefer these to the ACR2 to do away with the extra amplifier box and wiring

Jani I have Adams first example setup on my Suzuki's, with ecu calculated gear Wastegate duty trim works good, but my ecu calculated gear is a problem if i change ratios and then have to recalibrate , about to switch to GPS voltage input for gear determination If you do use the Link and need a base setup i am happy to share

    Blown engine!

    What ring end gap ?
  14. Listed dealer in Santa Rosa may have a dyno or know someone who is familiar with the software , i was looking them up last week when working on our bikes in the area
  15. Cbr coils are good with a CDI,pretty much the current setup on the bike but space is so limited on that one i want to loose the CDI controler , The R35 coils will work good there by the look , even found some old race plugs that had a tall screw on tip that are perfect for the few mm i need to make this work A few of the other bikes have more room available near the plugs and i am running the LS2 truck coils on them We are a landspeed motorcycle team with bikes in Australia and USA and working towards a common engine management platform
  16. Ha yep the old reversed cylinder numbering compared to a car catches a few guys out good to see it found
  17. Thanks Stevieturbo not enough power in the mc pencil coil , hi boost and fuels ranging from hi lead to methanol Also i want something i can run straight from the ecu
  18. Update, the R35 look to be a good fit on both the Kawasaki and Suzuki if i make screw on caps for the spark plugs about 5mm longer. The longer adaptors for the COP are too long , Good option to the bulky LS2 coils i am currently using

    V44 to monsoon

Hi Adam ,thanks for your reply thought i was cluttering up the new release thread Pretty much have the V44 PCL converted to the Monsoon now, to update one of our Landspeed Suzuki GSXR 750's to the newer platform, i manually moved everything over and actually let me see a couple of things that needed tidying up anyway the Atom i mentioned is going on a 600cc LSR bike and i will adapt the Monsoon map as the setup is only slightly different , 4 injectors instead of staged dual injectors and the more limited inputs which i can adjust and E 85 instead of the leaded race fuel if i find i am having any problems i will reply here ,
  20. Sample obviously is just that and not usable as a starting point, had better use of an existing G4+ PCL , let me modify stuff like injector type and ign enabling that the sample wouldnt Vipec PCL was loaded into a powered but locked Monsoon, (still waiting on an unlock to be sent ) and it seemed to load ok but later the file showed so much did not load correctly , and was also getting a locked ecu message on a new Atom PCL that would not let me adjust anything even though i was not connected to an ecu
  21. Setting up a new Atom with the new software and mostly manually converting a v44 PCL i am finding ign 4 will not turn on , anyone else seeing this ? Update i tried a Atom sample PCL and had no problem changing the ign 1-4 status but must be a conflict after loading the V44 PCL and then trying to change the things that didnt update or defaulted to base G4+ settings Looks like i will just have to start from scratch and cut and paste a lot
  22. Tried a trigger scope ? What deg trigger offset ?
  23. Yep power from sensor 5v supply trigger 2 to yellow black , have used sensor gnd to black brown and trigger gnd , both work Sensor gnd was used when i had an adaptive harness to original wiring and the original uses sensor gnd current build has Link/Vipec shielded wire for trigger signal and gnd and 5v running separate to this Have Vipec and Link ECU's on the bikes
