CAN Keypad

I just had a quick look at the manuals for a couple of the common ones (motec and racegrade), they dont seem to have built in latch functions for the keys so they are going to be difficult to make work with our present firmware (not impossible but difficult).

Seen the Toucan (installing one in a customer's car tomorrow as it happens), but don't want another display.

Do you know if this would work:

Or this:

Interessting the blinkmarine looks like the ECU Master one and the Grayhill like the Motec and Racegrad PDM.

Did any Keypad know work with the Link Ecu ?

Most keypads are designed to work with a PDM so they are "dumb" and need the PDM to handle all the logic.  The keypad basically just sends a keypress, the PDM then converts that into a toggle, start/stop, increase/decrease, etc.  The PDM also has to send info back to the keypad to control its led status lights etc.

There are probably others around but the only one I have come across that has some programmable logic that would allow it to be connected directly to a G4+ is HP Electronik:  http://motorsportelectronic.com/Hjem/HP9642.html
