Grant Baker
Hi Is there a CAN Keypad available for integration into a G4+ to enable multiple CAN DI switching? So to enable ALS, Boost strategies, Traction etc etc... Obviously Motec do one, but it's expensive and not sure it will do the right job?? Adamw
I just had a quick look at the manuals for a couple of the common ones (motec and racegrade), they dont seem to have built in latch functions for the keys so they are going to be difficult to make work with our present firmware (not impossible but difficult). theandydove
I know a few guys running a Toucan with G4+ ECUs not sure if it has enough for what you want though https://jti.uk.com/toucan/
Grant Baker
Seen the Toucan (installing one in a customer's car tomorrow as it happens), but don't want another display. Do you know if this would work: http://www.blinkmarine.com/powerkey-pro-motorsport-can-bus-switching-panel/ Or this: http://www.grayhill.com/assets/1/7/CAN_keypad_datasheet_SCREEN.pdf

AbbeyMS
The Toucan just uses CAN Di inputs from the Link to switch items. But i dont know if it works the other way from a PDM to the Link G4+ device.
Skeeed3r
Did any Keypad know work with the Link Ecu ?

Most keypads are designed to work with a PDM so they are "dumb" and need the PDM to handle all the logic. The keypad basically just sends a keypress, the PDM then converts that into a toggle, start/stop, increase/decrease, etc. The PDM also has to send info back to the keypad to control its led status lights etc. There are probably others around but the only one I have come across that has some programmable logic that would allow it to be connected directly to a G4+ is HP Electronik: http://motorsportelectronic.com/Hjem/HP9642.html
Skeeed3r
Fueltech release a new Keypad:https://www.fueltech.net/collections/switchpanel/products/switchpanel-8 @Adamw What do you think, could be worked with the LINK ecu ?
