  1. Only addition would be an IAT sensor the rest of the stock sensors are fine to use. You might want to think about a bigger map sensor if you are looking to run more than 18psi of boost.
  2. No not a software option.
  3. Any firmware updates will only be for the G4+, the micro used on the G4 is at capacity so we just can't get it in there.
  4. You will have to double it up so it feeds two inputs one being sub one being main (Signal will be identical but ECU cant tell its the one signal)
  5. Only suggestion that I can see would be to change the multiplexer length to 1 Failing that I'll get one of our engineers to have a look.
  6. Current wise the ECU draws very little. The TPS and tacho signal are the normal area that can cause issue for the 4WD but I haven't struck them effecting the ABS.
  7. Hi Ross can you get a screen shot of the error.
  8. You have to run group. If you have high impedance injectors then wire in two groups of three (one drive per bank will be fine) If low impedance then you will need to do it using all 4 drives drive 1 and 3 firing one bank and 2 and 4 the other.
  9. If you put Ignition #1 test to ON then the coil on Cylinder 1 should fire the spark plug untill test is turned off. Ignition #2 will be cylinder 2 and so on.
  10. This would indicate the Di that is expecting to see 12V at key on is not getting 12V. Check which Di has been assigned to ignition switch and check it is configured correctly and the signal to it is correct.
  11. Keep an eye on firmware releases there are some developments coming in line with this.
  12. You will need a free digital in put to wire to. (note the LEM only has one digital input) You will need to set the DI to speed and then calibrate so speed reads correctly. Â
  13. They will probably have a 24 and 1 configuration in the distributor. You would require a sub-board for the 24 and 1 (same as 3sge). This however is the most popular sub-board and we have run out.
  14. For low impedance injectors would will have to use the drives in parallel to give enough current capacity. On High impedance injectors using 2 drives is fine with 3 injectors each.
  15. Do you mean the the BAP is reading 0kpa?

    ECUdatascan

You will need to find out if the dash supports the ECU data stream directly. The G4 does not put an OBD data stream out only CAN or Serial data.
  17. Some solenoids will start to open at low duty cycles the Bosch 2 wire will start to open below 30%. I would block this off and see where the idle sits. If its still high and you only have 5 deg of timing then there is an air leak or the throttle stop is open too far.
  18. Not currently as the streams are fixed.
  19. Hi Matt Currently there is no info on %ethanol in the data stream going to the dash. Short answer is currently its not an available option. I am assuming you are connected via CAN

    link g1 help

You might be able to depending on the age of the unit. If you could post a pic with the lid off the unit we will be able to advise.
  21. $150 per hour but I would be gutted if we couldn't fix it with the first hour. Where are you based as a local tuner might be kind enough to see if they can connect.
  22. To check the ECU trying to connect to a tuning module is one way, trying another serial link. Or you can send both in and we can have a look over it. http://www.linkecu.com/support/returns-policy
  23. Yes it would be worth a shot as it will then aim for a target and adjust as needed.
  24. No. Only way to do that would be to use two ECUs and treat as two 6 cylinder engines. This is due to having to run group fire fuel and wasted spark on the Xtreme.
  25. The Di should be able to control 5 aux outs all of the one input. Can you send the MAP? or post it here.
