  1. There is a chance that the ECU could be faulty. If you power it with nothing but power and ground connected and still have the fault. If this is the case please email [email protected] and they can advise on the process for return.
  2. If its an Xtreme then yes if any other ECU no.
  3. Normally they connect or they don't. Only other thing would be a visual check to make sure no connections have broken mainly around the connector in and out.
  4. Hi if you flick us an email at [email protected] I should be able to hunt that info out.
  5. Will depend if closed loop lambda is turned on. If the function is off then there will be no effect.
  6. Most likely cause will be the 5V out is shorted to ground.
  7. No as the signal can not be shared. It will need its own knock sensor.
  8. Aux 7 and 5 are not connect through to the outside world so are not available to use. Di4 could be used as its not critical for a manual application The AC could be by passed to free up a Di and an Aux out. You could have the AC request switching a relay that then controls the ac clutch.
  9. Could be the serial link or ribbon cable connections or the USB to serial device. The warning is indicating too many errors in the data stream. If you have another USB converter I would try this first. Assuming the Serial link and ribbon cable are in good condition.
  10. Hi Simon Check the configuration of Ignition drive 4 this is controlling the AC fan. In your map it looks to have the incorrect polarity it should be set to low. For the O2 you will need to set the error low value to 0.00v as the sensor will read 0V at key on. This will be the case for either wideband or narrow band.
  11. Make sure the drive to the CAS is in perfect condition and there is no play in the cam drive as any movement of this sensor can cause triggering problems. Also check what the dwell is doing in a log, if this is unstable it defiantly points to the triggers and then if all the drive line to the CAS checks out one of the trigger disks showen above would be an option.
  12. Ign and Inj drivers will not back feed. Aux drivers MUST NOT be wired to anything that has power when the ECUs supply is off. If the any device connected to the AUX drives has power when the ECU is off it will cause a problem.
  13. Hi. First thing to check is that you have consistent coms and the connection speed is remaining above 10Hz. Will need a step by step account of how you are configuring the guages as its not one we are seeing here so it could be in the setup method. The spelling has been noticed and we are trying to pick the errors as we come across them. We have a new version due shortly that is in dealer hands being tested.
  14. This could indicate an issue with the map sensor. On some of the very early boards the MAP hose internally failed and caused a restriction making causing the map sensor to be slow to respond or not respond at all. I would suggest it will be worth getting a dealer to check the ECU or return to us. If it comes to us please email [email protected] for a return form before sending.
  15. Hi How do you mean modify the pinouts? You will need to configure the ECU to how you have wired it. This is done through PCLink ans selesting the correct functions for each input and output. IAT sensor has ground to one pin and the other side goes to a AN temp input on the ECU. We can supply connector through your local dealer along with the display cable.
  16. That can be done very easy. With high impedance injectors you can run two injectors off a drive in parallel. So no problems to have four secondary injectors.
  17. Hi Brad Which ECU are you running on? Im thinking Xtreme as you mention 8 injector drives. If you do have the Xtreme you have the option of using aux injection or having two injectors off the secondary drives. Aux injection lets you run a ms based duty cycle off injector drives 5-8 so you can faze in a 3rd set.
  18. It might be an issue with the solenoid duty cycle. On some solenoids you need to clamp to 30% min. The MAP can have an effect even if your row steps are set to TPS, this depends on the main fuel calculation selection.
  19. Hi art Philip our CEO will be at the show so you will be able to put a face to the name. and likely meet a couple of the dealers as well.
  20. Hi Tommy The hardware for the aux outputs is identical between the two ECU revisions. Do you have the same firmware between the ECUs? You can check the hardware by doing a test function on the aux output. I assume you have it wired to AUX1 and 2
  21. That is totally an option it have a switch/button trigger the start point of the timer.
  22. From the dealer you would be after a CANF this is a field installable connector that you can wire right to the back of.
  23. If you measure from ground to pin 3 or 10 do you get a reading off either that varies for 0-5?
  24. Simon

    Wideband

The heater ground will need to go to the block. The sensor ground can be spliced into the ground from the XS loom.
