  1. Why can't we add the software? Because the storm has it and is the ECU to buy if you want VVTi. The pricing between the two is very close. The value of the VVt function more than covers the difference.
  2. E2 should be to DI2 E9 to DI1 E3,14 and 15 are sensor ground.
  3. Cheers Dave you are making my forum job a much nicer task.

    Map Sensor?

If it cals up on the 2.5 you have the early version of the V44 and it will be a 2.5 bar sensor.
  5. This is a forum for the support of the product. You will get traction control when it is finished. We are well aware it is taking longer than expected. Negative non constructive comments will not be tollerated.
  6. Hi Guys Haven't got any good news to report on the development. We are still working on this but it is massive piece of code so will take some time to get finished tested and working to our high standards. We don't want to release something that is half baked. Once it is done we will inform you.
  7. I would suggest the the better option would be to consider the Vi-pec range of ECU's These offer higher end features that the Link does not. They are designed and manufactured by us.
  8. If you like we can set this up on the bench to get it all correct. We would need the ECU and CAS.
  9. ECU logging can be triggered of a number of options. Including digital inputs, auxiliary outputs, TPS, MAP etc. For the card logger ill need Ray or someone else to fill this in as its a product Ray designed and produced. The Racepak dash can be connected through CAN to the ECU. this should not require an adapter. It is just a wiring exercise. If the external logger runs on serial connection then the dash won't be able to be left connected at the same time.
  10. Thanks for posting the actual cal numbers saved me a task today

    Spark Duration

In most distributor applications it is not possible to maintain full dwell time at high engine speeds as there is simply not enough time between spark events. In these applications the dwell must be automatically decreased at high rpm. Of the total time between spark events there is the dwell time (where the coil is charging) and the spark time (while the spark plug is actually being fired). If dwell begins before the spark has finished then the spark is extinguished too early. Therefore there must be a minimum time to elapse before the ECU will being dwell. This value has been called the spark duration and is typically between 0.5 - 1.0ms. On a multi coil application you will have plenty of time so the spark will run for as long as it can.
  12. You can try the 4Bar option. But will have to check the readings. Failing that use a custom cal (4,5 or 6) and manually enter a calibration.
  13. Both could do the job ok. (G4 would be much much better) Chances are both might need a sub-board change to suit the triggering on the new motor. Can you post a pic of the V14 ecu's sub-board. Â Â
  14. The sync switch set the ECU up for the widest slot on the Nissan trigger disk. Too low a number and the ECU will get more than one sync pulse for each revolution. Too high and it will get no sync and will not start. This is why I suggest going for the highest setting that can get engine to start.
  15. The sync switch should be set to the highest value the engine will start on. Just bump it up a position at a time. When it fails to start back it off one.
  16. All the LEM based ones are. Only bits that change are the actual adapter box on the end.

    Vipec Map on Link G4

Once the ECU is connected the MAP will be able to be loaded.

    +8V Output

Would not want to do more than 100mA
  19. Can you please post you map or email it through. [email protected] I will get a couple of our guys to have a look over it.
  20. The help file is excellent. If there is an area that you think can be improved we are happy to look at this.
  21. This is normal. As you effectively have a miss fire and lots of air going through the engine.
  22. What you are looking at doing would be much better done using Launch control.
  23. Hi The auxiliary injection is a fixed amount of additional fuel. The quick tune will apply only to the main fuel table. I suspect the go would be to add the additional fuel and then trim using the main table.
