  1. It all depends on the number of cylinders being run vs the number of injector drives. So for a two cylinder you need 4 drives a 3 cylinder would need 6 and a 4 needs 8 drives. I have your map now so ill give that a run up on the bench. And see what we find.
  2. The current V44's are fitted with a 4bar sensor so that I would expect. The temp issue could be due to the error / fault settings being incorrect. Check the error high and low values.

    Knock Block Pigtail

Hi The plug is a generic plug so a electronics place might be able to source one for you. Or we can offer a strengthened replacement loom.
  4. The 4AGE igniter should be like the 1UZ. http://www.linkecu.com/support/documentation/technical-drawings/I08
  5. You will see some movement based on the weather, If there is a high pressure system then the baro / map will be up and a low pressure day will give low readings. The main thing is the MGP reading with engine not running should be 0.
  6. Not an easy fix as its a hardware limitation. (would require a new ECU)
  7. A oscilloscope on the injector out put will be the best way. You can then see the pulse width change in relation to the trim. If you send you map through to [email protected] we can check it on the bench.
  8. The best map signal will be if you can join all 6 runners in to a common map line back to the map sensor. If you find you want trim ignition more this is where you start to use the TPS overlay. The overlay allows you to remove or add timing from the main MAP based table off throttle position. So you might find you need to add some timing at idle, so in the trim table at 0% TPS and low RPM you can add timing as soon as you increase TPS this area is not active and the timing is removed.
  9. For the early coils you will require an external igniter. The factory igniter would be fine to use.
  10. Max input frequency is 500Hz So it is a combination of tooth count and max speed required.

    g1 d42

I would avoid using the G1 on a rotor as it will not really give the best result. The cortina 2L is a better option. This is most often a optical / hall system and is easy to work with. The sub-board is also a bit easier to get, We are out of the ones needed for the rotary. Contact either tech or [email protected] and we can get you sorted.
  12. Only other things would be if the actual triggers were failing. If you set the triggers to something else say subaru V1-6 and then reset back to EZ30 do you get triggers?
  13. Thats not looking good. Where are you based?
  14. The ECU switches the ground using a very simple circuit. If you manually provide a ground to the ECCS relay through pin 16 the ECU should then see full voltage. If this works there is a fault on the ECU or a connection issue at the header. The voltage you are seeing currently is through a back feed.
  15. To me it sounds very much like there are wiring issues. The ECU should only disconnect if power to the unit is lost or if it gets noise on the usb cable. Where are you based in the world?
  16. I would try unplugging the injectors. Turn on the key and let pressure build. Crank engine and see if the plugs are wet. Checking to see if the injectors could be leaking. Next would be to turn the prime fuel off and see if it fires or if plugs are wet again. Problem is going to be too much fuel.
  17. Aux 5 is not wired internally on this ECU. So it is not available for use. Yes pins 49 or 59 can be used not 58 as this is hot fed.
  18. If you are seeing a fluctuation in TPS reading with no movement of the throttle this can indicate a faulty TPS or noise getting on the signal line. The supply voltage will be fine it will only be an issue below about 10V
  19. You need to wire the signal from the sensor to a free AN volt input. This input is then selected as MAP, make sure to turn the internal one off.
  20. Unfortunately not as the ECU has no ability for traction control or slip control.
  21. To test the AUX you will need to have a test light between 12V and the aux. In test on it should turn the light on.
  22. Master fuel is where you ball park the fuelling for the injectors. Ross at Dobsons Dyno tune is the man when it comes to 2J's He pops up on here on occasion ill see if he can led a hand.Â
  23. Still no not on current release.
  24. ECU is still powering up and connecting to the PC? The 12V (power supply) to the other side of what ever is being switched could be missing.
  25. No difference and if the coil has its igniter built in we don't need to worry about the primary resistance.
