  1. Email reply sent. Suspect issue is the switch type being set to toggle.
  2. With the ECU on and the throttle motor turned off / unplugged manually mover the throttle and check the TP main and TP Sub % track each other. If the % is out by more than 3% it will clock errors and then shut down. If these do not track you might have to feed the TP main signal in to both volt inputs so the sub is reading the same TP output.
  3. Power is 12V switched. The ground should be wired to the sensor ground (one of the green wires) Â
  4. Once you ahve run the test and have the lowes value you will change the trigger 2 vvt offset to match.
  5. Do you have the V Series or the i series plugin?
  6. Are you using a wire in or is this on the plugin. Most common errors are Target set to TP not FP No PID numbers Motor wired reverse TP main and TP Sub reversed.
  7. Check for silly numbers in the post start enrichment table.
  8. If the conditions are the same for both then you could drive more than one device from the same output. But if you require a different set of conditions it can not be done. Â Such as you can not run a fuel pump and tacho from the same output.
  9. Unless you are using a stepper motor for idle control there is no need for ECU hold power.
  10. If its not available in PC link the hardware is not there on the board to support it. At a guess you have a plugin with the storm topboard.
  11. Most likely would be a dip in the MAP pressure. This signal has the biggest impact on the fuelling.
  12. Yep on the + series no problem.
  13. Yep no problem to drive the M&W and falling edge trigger is normal for us.
  14. From memory it is purely for idle control.
  15. The ECU firmware has be bought up to the most current? We can try it on the bench if you can supply the MAP

  17. If its just WRXROAD that will be ok. The later ECU for the 97/98 wrx had the chip WRX97 So you should be OK I think. On the 4 plug, your TPS comes in on pin 55 This is on the small plug top row 2 from the right. Â
  18. Check the voltage at the input pin to the ECU with a volt meter. If this is jumping around then you have a wiring / switch issue.
  19. Yep thats the one. You will also likely have to set your fault settings to 0v and 5v as the signal can reach full scale.
  20. Im a bit concerned the Chip is incorrect for the ECU. Was the WRXROAD97 on a sticker on the chip?
  21. It could be the trigger 2 is just borderline for voltage and the open throttle allows the engine to crank a pit faster. In turn giving a slight stronger signal. If you are running a 0.2 for the arming voltage already then the next option is to see if you can close up the sensor to tooth gap. THis will help give a bigger voltage.
  22. Yep no problem to control the Mivec with the Xtreme. Just needs to be wired and configured.
