One problem with that math is that 10% of .8 lambda is not the same as 10% of 1.0 lambda.  It would still be close but ideally you would modify your math as follows:  a*(1+(b/100)+(c/100))

this is what I usually use but math ends up with same result

@Vaughan any chance you could double check your trigger wheel has the gap on the intake side when at TDC? The ECU has sync when cranking with Fuel off but my timing light isn’t working again. I’m going to borrow a timing light in a couple of days but would like to know the offset is in the ballpark.

has this run before on the Link ecu? if not can you post up the current map and log of cranking, maybe something else is wrong

    drag and street car.

thats good, then you will only be at peak power / peak current draw for roughly a few seconds at a time... this will very likely not be a problem at all as it will not be running at that peak level long enough to cause any problems as long as the proper wire size is used. settings below as an example

I have them assigned to an 10 and 11. The voltage fluctuates when I press the pedal and I have calibrated them against the pedal. If thats what you guys are asking :) I will try with that map and see what happens

in the map you posted accelerator position sensor shows none and none for assigned pins. I've adjusted the map I sent but you need to do the calibration and then set ethrottle mode to ON from current setup mode.  then post a new log

ok great thank you. i have it currectly wired into the ECU, was just going to relocate it to the PDM since it would be right next to it.

currently we push 40psi of boost on our YSI supercharged 350z. its probably making in the 1000hp area, but we've never dynoed it. just take it to the dragstrip.

my 350z is a single turbo setup, im not sure of the boost level yet. i just dont want to run out power or pump.

    ok great thank you.

what kind of racing are you using it for? drag? drift? track?

hello, i am getting a Razor PDM to run my fuel system. i currently have the 350z PNP ECU.

i am going to run a DW 5.5L surge tank with 1 DW300 on stage one as the normal pump and 2 DW400 pumps as the second stage.

the DW300 pump runs 14.7A at 90psi, so that will be covered with one single output.

the DW400 pump runs 20.1A at 90psi, so 2 of them will be 40.2A.

the unfortunate thing about the DW surge tanks is that there only have 2 connection points, stage 1 and stage 2.

so im wondering if i can parallel up two of the High Power Outputs to run the two pumps, as there is no way to add a third set of contacts for a third stage.

i would also like to use the flex sensor to go into the PDM, or would it be best to have it go into the ECU?

in the spec sheet, i do not see the recommended input fuse size, what size is needed?

is there an installation or instruction sheet available? i cant seem to find it on the webpage other than the spec sheet.

also which ignition signal would i need to get form the ECU to wire into the IGN input on the PDM? would i use D10 pin 109 on the stock harness?

    stage one:

will come on with the stock in tank pump and was looking to use HPO#1.

im guessing that i can set this up in the ECU to turn on the normal pump and the surge tank stage one pump through the PDM?

    stage two:

will come on at say 10 psi and turn on both pumps.

i was hoping to use HPO#3 and HPO#4 for this and parallel the wires up onto the stage 2 contacts.

i was also told i could PWM these pumps through the PDM.

how would i go about doing that?

    based on TPS and Load(MAP)?

    thank you for the help!!

are you planning to run 40+psi of boost?  what's the target hp?

I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to use 2 outputs together, as long as the control of those outputs is the same.

Ethanol sensor currently only allows for a DI input to assign into the ecu, this could be something addressed in the firmware but currently I would expect if you want the ecu to control fuel properly when switching between pump and e85 it will need to be wired direct to the ecu.

How about G4x, if I deside to upgrade? Fury G4x should be using same wiring and sensors?

yes the G4x has the power management, also yes it should plug in and all wiring and sensors should be the same.

    Hi !

If I would like to lose power very quickly for 1 of 2 reasons, would it be possible to use traction control.

For example if I go for wheelie ( have sensor under the bike) more than a 200mm or if MAP goes above 200 kPa (just for example) , ECU would retard or cut ignition.

I would like to gain same kind of effect that I have with launch control, I don't know if ignition retard will work fast enough, so cut may be needed, but I would not like to lose the boost when I do wheelie.

Or if boost rises up wery fast after lauch, and waste gate has problem to keep up, ECU would cut few sparks just to make boost build up little smooter.

    Just a tought... :)

ignition retard would react very quickly, the question is will it remove enough power to drop the bike back down. You may also run into a problem with boost creeping if you retard the timing too much.  I'm pretty sure you can have it do both retard ignition and if it still has not dropped it can start cutting cylinders.

Is there a difference between MAP and target boost. Cause i have seen Simon and Adam say it doesnt matter as they are the same thing basically multiple times.

    @Adamw

Is there a difference between the two.

yes, MAP is the actual sensor reading where as Target Boost is a lookup table. Boost control will not work with MAP as the axis, has to be target boost.

Correct, both on can1.  BTI is showing data on its screen without issue.  Resistor is in the back of the gauge.  I have an almost identical setup on another car only with the Link CanGauge instead of the BTI and it works flawlessly, for whatever that's worth.

do you have a resistor at the CAN Lambda controller? where is the CAN lambda controller located? engine bay?
