Julien
This is for the next generation.. 512Ko only allows the last 30s to be saved. Another good solution could be to be able to use a thumb drive to be connected on the USB port to extend the internal memory. This would also be nice to recover the datas quickly. Adamw
Where did you get 512K from? Our current ecu's have 512MB. My road car has about the last 3 weeks of driving stored in it.
Julien
Weird… I may have done something wrong then. I restricted the data I log on the ECU. But the file I download is always 512 Ko in size. I noticed you advertised 512Mbit which should be 60Mo so I thought it was a typo..
dx4picco
512MB is 512 Mo, not 60 Julien
Adamw
The G4X has 512 Megabytes. MB = Megabyte, Mb = Megabit. Do you remember where you saw it advertised with 512Mbit? I had a quick look around our website but couldnt see that.
Julien
On the comparison chart, but yes I took MB for Mb, my bad I’ve some knowledge in computing but not enough apparently and in France with use Octet which is less confusing ^^ Anyway, this does not really matter, I’m just trying to understand what’s wrong, if something is wrong.. The latest file I downloaded was 513ko that’s why I was worry the memory was too little and I stopped using that feature and always use my laptop after that. I’ll make more tests this weekend…
Julien
Ok, my bad I’ve been able to download much more data than I did when I made the firsts attempts..
koracing
having the engine off while downloading ecu logs seems to provide more robust downloading I've found.
