Hi Sutkale,
Keep us posted please.

Hi mapper,
so you have used all 3 boost tables, and are using gear based as one of these tables or running a different table.
Regards
Dave.

Hi Peterfook,
I am very sorry for my delayed response.
The joys of being unwell and busy.
I will run the pcl on the bench and suggest or make changes for you.
Regards
Dave.

Hi Anders,
we need to see how you did setup the 2D setup to be able to advise on where you are going wrong.
The HELP file has very good instructions on all settings.
Regards
Dave.

Hi Peterfook,
I have downloaded your pcl file and will check it out later for obvious problems.

Dave.

Hi all,
these will be available also in the next few weeks.
Will work with LINK and ViPEC products
I forgot to mention the unit also has a spare analogue volt input so for example you cold add another temp sensor or connect a wideband AFR signal into it and have that also transmitted via CAN BUS to your ecu etc.
Regards
Dave.

Hi motionper,
yes you can simply press the U key for UNITS , or go to the top of the screen and click on the OPTIONS tab, then click on UNITS.
You can click on METRIC and change the temp to Fahrenheit or go to the OPTIONS tab under units and change all values there to suit your needs

Dave.

Hi Sameh,
you may need to lift the dwell up some.
Set to around 3.5 ms at 12 -13 volts from 1000 to 3000 rpm then drop to 3.0 ms through to 7000 rpm
Set to around 4.0 ms at 12 - 13 volts from 1000 to 3000 rpm then drop to 3.5ms through to 7000 rpm.
Remember
The higher the voltage the lower the dwell needs to be.
The lower the voltage the higher the dwell needs to be.
The higher the RPM the lower the dwell needs to be.
Are you using resistored or non resistored spark plugs with these coils.
Regards
Dave.

Hi,
yes obviously the plug in's are less work etc,
I was talking about standalone installs sorry, and even then I have been repining factory looms and using the FURY's, I did this own my own Skyline.
I have done this on several customers cars.
It doesn't take that long to do.
Regards
Dave.

Hi Peter,
I have not received anything.
Can you send to my email address , [email protected]

Hi Mapper,
my ECU of choice for just about every job is the LINK FURY now.
So much ECU for the price.

Dave.

Hi Peter,
sorry I will check, but I didn't get any notifications.

Dave.

Hi mapper,
have you changed the indicator from circle to dot or x format.
What parameter settings are you using for the boost monitoring, like what are the property settings you are using for the XY plot.
The data on that screen pretty much shows me you logged around the 3250 to 3750 rpm area and stayed in vacuum, no boost, didn't even go to WOT.
Regards
Dave.

Hi mapper,
just sell more FURY's ha ha
I run the LSU 4.9 directly to my FURY and also run another 2 different WIDEBANDS as extra inputs to compare data.
The other 2 wide band AFR's are Autronic A analyser and the other is NGK AFX

Dave.

Hi Jason,
don't worry I have been asking for this also.
There is a need for these abilities.
The problem is it takes a lot of money to be invested into these new products.
What is outlaid has to be made back with substantial gain to warrant building the unit in the first place.
No good focussing on a product and only selling 10 of them.
Regards
Dave.

Hi mapper,
I also have been wishing for a lot of what you have asked for.
You just never know what's around the corner with these guys.
New things take a lot of time to create design and make function correctly as well as available space and also processor abilities etc.
As for your different boost by gear , why don't you use the Boost by Gear function that has been around since day dot.
I am all for the GPS input, as sport dash loggers are very expensive.
I am playing with Garmin GPS 10 hz aerials at present reading data from the unit with a STC SERIAL TO CAN device to sniff can data from the unit.
But working out what is what, so far I have no idea.

Dave.

Hi muzzytt,
as for the LAMBDA vs AFR simply press the U key for UNIT'S change, however this will also change all other values to either psi , deg f mph, etc etc,
Or you can go to the top of the screen and select the OPTIONS tab, then go down to UNITS, then select options again and change the METRIC from LAMBDA to AFR.
Regards
Dave.

Hi MethOD,
Yes you can create these in general purpose limiters.
Regards
Dave.

Hi Sutkale,
I cant really remember it has been some time since I have used a 500 R, but I am sure that the use of resistored plugs is not advisable.
Are any of the output wires from the CDI to the coils near the trigger wiring,
or is your tuning usb cable near the CDI unit or wiring.
Regards
Dave.

Hi Adturb,
you can import your layouts to the different firmware upgrades, as long as you have saved them.
Regards
Dave.

Hi Peter ,
yes my face book page is either David Kriedeman
or my ViPEC_LINK_PRO TUNING

Wiring diagram
in G4+
Posted
Hi MFZ,
Sorry there is no full schematic diagram that I am aware of.
As the ECU is so flexible with what you choose to use for inputs and outputs etc .
The HELP files show specific wiring pin outs etc and HOLD POWER diagrams etc for general use.
Also LINK supply a small booklet with each ECU in which you write what input output etc you are using and you simply name it so you know what each pin is exactly and you then have all your info for programming.
Regards
Dave.
